@Horton @skidawg @Bill22 I was onsite today and, at the very least, he was on a ski with the 2017 graphics. I can only assume that also means it also had the 2017 PMI core.

@MattP (or anyone else) do you know what ski these guys are riding? I know a few but not all. PM me or post it here and I will update the above list. I know the factory team riders are always testing new stuff but for discussion purposes it would be good to know what brand ski they are on.

@pgmoore 1) is the water cold compared to average USA temps? Do you think it might have effected some of the scores?

 

2) Did Travers and Detrick have a runoff or did they use round 1 scores as a tiebreaker?

@Bill22 I'm afraid I don't have much of anything intelligent to say about either question.

 

1) I think the water temperature is probably in the mid 70s. But must admit I haven't checked in a while. To me that feels pretty warm compared to how we start the year. But guessing it's quite cold compared to the average USA temperatures you referenece?

 

2) Don't think there was a runoff in that case. But I was volunteering yesterday and the rush was on at the BBQ for burgers at that time. Pretty sure the only runoff was the one with Corey.

Awesome day of skiing yesterday, Yes Corey Vaughn had one of the craziest 39's I've seen in a long time, taking a huge slack hit out the gate and went on to 1 1/2 at 41.

Stephen was on a new ski a few weeks ago in Austin. Had graphics like the new 2017 vapor.

@Bill22 the water out ther last week was about 68F when I last skiied at shalom. Average air temperatures since then so i would guess that'd be about what it was on the weekend. No idea how that compares to other global sites
