The * means they are not on their country's designated team. Except in the case of the

accounting of the standings by country, where the * means that score was used in the

calculation. Note that the team scores are NOT based on Winner=1000 points, but

on a NOPS-like calculation. Producing some scores in excess of 1000 points. See Rule

5.03 in the 35+ Rules. Note Olivier Fortamps' (BEL) BIG points in Tricks.

If I remember correctly, Bob won 5. Andy won a ton. I guess the two of those guys didn't leave many hanging there on the tree. It just seems that since he broke the world record as a teenager (correct me if I'm wrong) there would have to have been a world championship in KLP's history.

Watched Greg Tate ski at his private Lake a few weeks back. He is an incredible skier. Its cool to see he did so well in his class.

Best of my knowledge, KLP skied as World Record Holder in 3 Worlds: 1975, 1977, and

1979. Had the best preliminary round score in 1975. Got 2nd to brother Bob in 1979,

at the Toronto Worlds. Originally, the Worlds was mainly a team event, so as a one-

eventer, Kris couldn't make the US team, like Bob did. Later they added Record Holders,

and even later, people high up on the Rankings.
