There is a house for sale at Ski Watch for around $185K and I also checked out recent home sale prices in the community. Wow, I can't believe how low the home prices there are, and the HOA dues are under $800/year! I live in California, so maybe my perspective is tweaked, but this place seems like incredibly affordable ski lake living.

@razorskier1 and I stay there onsite with friends Thurs thru Monday with a 6 rounds of tourney slalom. We ski Thurs, Fri, help set up if needed, ski tourney Sat/Sun, help tear down, ski Monday a.m. and fly home. @razorross3 has recently joined this annual trip.

 

4 parallel lakes with courses so seems more than one is always available. High trees line some of the lakes...really cool. Two lakes have turn around islands on one end and another lake connects 'em all. Nice starting dock, announcing area and judging towers on the tourney lake.

 

Lots and homes have been reasonably priced. Not too far from Pensacola. My tourney PB is there.

I grew up in Pensacola, and skied often with Tom Watson, who i think developed those lakes about the time I moved to S Fla. ( 85ish maybe) Ive skied the site a handful of times and always ski very well there also. Looking forward to getting back

Definitely a great site, skis awesome and is beautiful to look at from the dock with a drink in hand. I think my tournament PB is there as well to be honest, can't remember for sure where I did the 1.5@38 this year vs the other 3 -38 scores of 1@38. I expect to break that next year though, possibly at Ski Watch.

Nice site. Tom Watson did develop it and he still lives there (but doesn't ski anymore). After years of no lots selling and lots of availability, the site has suddenly filled up. All lots are sold. One of my very favorite places to visit and ski.

It skis bad, the people are no fun and its really expensive. Stay away. The beaches are dirty and there is nothing to do.

Awesome place with some great people! As @6balls said previously, four lakes side by side and a great six round weekend in the fall! The water skis very well and is capable of big scores on any of the four lakes.

The best part of the weekend was when @Tevskis tried to drink a Yuingling while driving his pedal bike. A nice lady told him to be careful and he said it was no problem. Within 2 seconds he was on the ground.

I skied there once. Met MS and Mrs. MS. Asked me if I posted on BOS and after I said yes, he wrong sided me the rest of the weekend. Bastard. ;-)

Beautiful...wanna go back there right now. Boat launch is on the lake furthest to the right...my favorite lake to ski. Narrow with tall trees, enough set up, turn around island on one end. Tourney lake is far left.

The water there looks clear and shallow. Is there a problem with vegetation that has to be managed a lot?

@TallSkinnyGuy no weed issues. Yes shallow and clear but the bottom is kind of a hard clay
