EricE
After dropping some test buoys this weekend to mimic an 8-ball course, we have decided to convert our existing course to get the extra set up time. Does anybody know how Zero Off course mapping works with an 8-ball course? Thanks, Eric
Baller bishop8950 Posted May 1, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 1, 2018 Great question. There may not be an easy solution.

Baller lkb Posted May 1, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 1, 2018 Maybe this helps...looks like overlapping 8 buoy course is one of the options
EricE
@lkb, definitely helps! Didn't see that in the manual on ZO website. Will give it a try this week. Thanks!
Baller blakeyates Posted May 1, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 1, 2018 With a Nautique, when you start the mapping process, it will ask you (or let you select) the type of course. The first one you see is a “6 buoy” as that is the default. I believe you can select the ‘right arrow’ to choose otherwise. Try this.
Baller MuskokaKy Posted May 1, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 1, 2018 @EricE i saw a video semi recently of Samantha Dumala running a 8 ball course behind a nautique. Not sure if i can dig it up ( not a social media guy) but im quite sure it can be done and some top level people are using it.
Baller_ MISkier Posted May 1, 2018 Baller_ Share Posted May 1, 2018 It’s relatively easy to do. I’ve had one mapped before. No problems. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Baller dave2ball Posted May 1, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 1, 2018 When mapping a course the ZO will ask you 6 ball or 8 ball. All you have to do is hit the up or down arrow.

Baller dave2ball Posted May 1, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 1, 2018 @"Mateo Vargas" if you go to PP Z BOX the answer will be he’s skiing in a warm place
