Belize Skiing?

My family has come up with the wonderful idea of visiting Belize in July, a place that will be hotter and more humid than Houston. If that is possible. I know, just brilliant. Anyone know of any water skiing going on?

Once upon a time my mother-in-law did a family trip, Dominican Republic.........in july. I highly recommend an alaskan cruise.

No skiing that I saw when down there last year. I recommend chartering a sail boat for the week and getting a personal trip out on the water to keep cooler. We had a great time touring the country. It is really hot in the jungle part of the country.

What happened to the outfit that was selling plots on two ski lakes over there, are they operating tthe skiing anymore ?

Or am I getting mixed up with somewhere else.

Don't recall there being much more than dust and crappy beer in Belize once you got very far from the shoreline. I'd find something to entertain yourself with in the ocean. And apparently there was a 4 lane bowling alley that they were really proud of :D

I suggest watching the John McAfee documentary on Netflix titled "Gringo" before you go down there. Very enlightening and can give you some watchouts....
