D3 Fin Block Bolts

Can anybody give me the correct size of hex bolt for a D3 fin Block that clamps the fin trying to help somebody out but the bolts were seized had to easyout them to get them out, I have some short ones but really would like to replace them with the correct ones.

D3 sells them. I ordered a set from them for the same reason. Does this tell you what you needed?

@aupatking thanks I think they may be 18 - 8 53/2 hard to get in the UK

@aupatking how did you get around the horrendous shipping cost, three bolts under 5 dolloars shipping to the UK 98 dollars

I'd probably drill and tap to a metric one.

 

Or there is always ebay.

They are #10 x 32. They are measured from below the bolt head for length. That's probably a 3/4 inch bolts. Look for 10-32 x 3/4. 316 stainless would be best but 18-8 will work. You think someone in the UK would have them. I've used either blue loctite or grease, never had a seize issue since.

@gregy thanks should be able to source 10-32 unf close by, a ski buddy was given a EVO to demo with the possibility to buy at a good price, but wanted to demo with stock settings, three new allen keys later and a rounded off socket, I had to drill and use a easyout to release them, boy they were tight.

@Stevie Boy it’s 10-32, I have bought a pack of 50 3/4” and 1” and cut them to the needed length. Where in the UK is your friend? I can give 3 to a friend that works in London and flies back and forth to Greece every weekend.

New d3 comes with the right Allen wrench. It’s very difficult to destroy the socket
