Jump switch on 196 with ZO

Looking to find the connection for the jump switch on our 09 196 but cannot locate it. Do we need an extension harness or is there generally one already attached?

I believe you plug the jump cable into the head unit. However I forget which port. I remember there was confusion on that when it first came out. Best to ask ZO guys. Unfortunately Nautique did not put jump cables as standard equipment back then

disland is probably right because he owns an 09, but I would look very carefully in the bundle of wires zip tied together in front of the tow bar. It may be there but hard to see.

You will need an extension harness. I dont think the harness were wired in til the 200's.

A picture of a wiring harness. The black plug is the jump switch. The extension harness plugs into the black plug and has the white small plug at the other end that connects to the switch.

 

Any source for the plug (or a Mouser part number?)? AutoZone sells the white plugs for rewiring the switch but I haven't found the black plug. My old harness got corroded and lost.
