Baller skimtb Posted August 16, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 16, 2020 Confused - ski tourney or car show? Dutchstar needs new mural, or modified one. Water skier throwing up a wall of water, can keep mountains in background, just add a lake in the foreground.

Baller_ RichardDoane Posted August 17, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted August 17, 2020 @skimtb I bought that Dutchstar in 2007 (it's a 1999) off of the internet, and went to Kentucky to get it and drive it back to Seattle. The Doctor's wife (original owner) had a thing for horses. and rvonline.com had only a few pictures in the advertisement, none showing the rear mural. I tell myself that it is a picture of Seattle Slew, 1977 Winner of the Triple Crown. And yes, every parking lot at a ski lake site has the possibility of a car show. Members mmskiboat
@RichardDoane What does the Rope Tension do? I see the cable for camera but no camera.
Baller Broussard Posted August 17, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 17, 2020 @mmskiboat It measures the load that the skier is putting on the rope behind the boat. .

Baller KRoundy Posted August 17, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 17, 2020 He didn’t even realize that he had won the $500 until he was interviewed on the air. ? I spoke to one of the competitors who said that all that stuff they put on you really amps up the atmosphere and pressure of the tournament. What a fun weekend. Kudos to everyone at Hilltop, TWBC, the pros, amateurs and spectators for a really fun and memorable weekend.

Members mmskiboat
@Broussard So it is like a strain gauge and does not affect the length of the rope. Must be cool to see the force that the top guys and gals pull, crazy I'm sure.
Baller Broussard Posted August 18, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 18, 2020 @mmskiboat I’m not sure what the exact mechanism is, but I’m sure it’s a fixed length and the length of the mechanism and carabiner is taken out of the handle end of the rope similar to the old Perfect Pass “switch ropes” .
