  1. @Garn fair questions the first two, but why don't others replicate? Seriously? What do you think they've all being attempting to do the last decade? Clearly it's not that easy, some people like he and Usain Bolt just find a vocation that they have an insane amount of god given ablility in and coupled with the the undoubted amount of hard work in training they prove to be almost unstoppable.

You can't just be the best at something by 'replicating' what the best do.

  2. Doubt it @skihacker I have a sign business and the time involved in setting up a file for print that will only ever be used once is not worth the effort unless I put a high dollar on it. You said yourself "custom". I recently told the same thing to a mate who replaced both sides of his 200 with the Sheerline graphic. Easier to buy it.

The guys who do the originals wouldn't just do one, the idea is they do a run put them on the shelf and move on to something else.

@lakeaustinskier I would seriously consider just doing the White and Black strip along the top, it almost covers the whole damaged section.

  3. @lakeaustinskier I see what you're wanting to do but really the best thing to do is keep them because at some point you'll need them yourself then you'll be kicking yourself for selling the leftovers. Plus it will take you 10 years to sell off piece by piece as most folks will keep the full set when they buy themselves.
  4. @vtmecheng we'll never know but Jaimie could very well have been on pre-production Pro with Alpha graphic. She might have had five of them kicking around all slightly different, same with Manon with her GT/GTR/DV8 situation. Fruitless trying to work out why/how/when.

I get your point though, they probably should at least try and get updated graphic on them.

  5. @LK_skier mine had a leak at that spot. The older manifolds had a plate welded on from inside for that O2 sensor. I jammed in JB Weld right around that area which has stopped the leak. The other manifold had already been replaced when I bought the boat and it appears to be a newer one where there's no plate, the sensor area is moulded in so it can't leak. Must have been a very common problem.

I had a pic of it on another thread somewhere..
