Yeah, I am still kinda interested but the whole process to get an attorney to do our own patent and or fight TW; who in every threatening letter he sends to me seems to be a RAH, ends up costing more $$ than its all worth. That money is needed to market the product and get it to the customer not spent tied up in courts fighting a fool, so we threw in the towel. I want to save necks but not at the cost of my own. REALLY SUCKS. You should approach John Horton about this the whole thing, it is really bullshit and TW's negligence to get them to folks, someone should sue him.......and that's where I will leave it........ANYONE? ATTORNEYS? Jump on it. In 2 short weeks of making them they are now wanted world wide, in big demand, and instead of saving lives the projects sits idle..........

The bondo or epoxy putty is mostly used to give the heal a dead on copy of itself as a resting place for direct transfer from the front boot. Add a little extra and it can be use to lower the font of the boot for a forward cant. Or add to either side to combat pronation and supination issues. It can also be used to add tension and tightness to the release at a silvretta release at lower setting.

I've been using double silvretta's since 2000. Works great. These boots are on my old set ups plates for pix purposes, my new front boot is smaller so it is pushed forward 1/2". The toe will be closer but you have to have a touch to get the front release to work. Also, remember they are custom so the toe is pretty close to the end of the boot unlike other stock boots where the toes are some distance from the front of the actual boot. When the new plates are finished and a lower rear toe loop is used it will allow a much closer fit. My current set up gap is not an issue at all.

Skied Jax for years. Julington Creek. Was a slalom course around there somewhere. Black Creek also. Great footin. Plus you can go on the river and not turn your boat around all day....

@teammalibue I do make boots for waterskiing. @Marco Chris Creveling from the USA is on my boots. He is strong in the 1000 on Thursday and on Saturday if he makes the semis and or finals. Great relay skater also.... Veronika Windisch from Austria skates the womens programs but not relay. There are a bunch of others in the men's programs and relays from Italy, Germany, and possibly Japan, and Russia. Look for the glowing green holograms on the heal counters on Russia and Japan........

@bishop8950 Cool you remember Okee 2009 The silver boots with the chain link straps with the gold blades ARE those prototype boots~! I skated them 2 yrs, skied them 3 yrs, then in 2011 a skater needed boots fast and so I put new skins and straps on them and that skater has been on them 3 yrs now~! THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE KIND WORDS~! MUCH APPRECIATED.

@rok I had a CarbonWrex ski that had a smooth bottom. It was fast and all like you say on the Warp. I was starting to design my own ski so I did some testing I scuff sanded it with a red scotch bright. It is still very smooth but has directional scuffs from front to back. The ski performed much better and had much more control in the turn and allowed the ski to get in front of me more on the finish of the turn. Not sure why but it skis much much better. Schnitz tested another one just like it with by spraying on the bottom finish with SEM like GOODE does/did. It worked better that smooth also........

Quantum seems to be a good one also. Many many skiers love them. Lots like the Reflex also but I have not got my hands on one to check it out so I can't say one way or another.

I have a brand spanking new 2014 A3 the speedskin is cool but I think they need to do some work to make sure there is no BALD SPOTS. Both of my side walls have "big" bald spots. This looks like a blem to me but they say it is normal. Sorry guys I would never sell a ski that looks like that and say it is normal, to me it is and always will be a blem and at a going rate of near 1300.00 blems are not acceptable. @Dacon62 I believe you are on to something. The need to put it on the bottom and not up the sides or something until they can make it look right.....

I had an HO that would get some white looking stuff on it. It was not calcium and I used alcohol and it went away..

@KcSwerver thanks for noticing the A3 they traded me the ski for the boot and plate for Kris. Very nice of Dave at HO to help Kris/Me out like that. THANKS out to him/them for the trade~! Would be nice to be fully "SYNDICATED" and go big. This group focused only on "OLYMPIC" products. There was another channel here KOMU 8 (Columbia, MO) and there is more talk of other products.

@Texas6 I set the heal clip@56mm per Reflex factory instructions. KLP and I both find it helps to add a little 2mm riser to the heal. Take a good look at the clip it works wonders for twisting falls, low profile and it is covered (padded) so it does not rip the hell out of your shin. Toe loops go where the foot points them and they are adjustable if a little rotation if needed. Bondo or Epoxy putty works to hold the heal in a rock solid location. Hence the scuffed area on the high polished plate. They are 100% heat moldable and we find it takes some tweaking just like the ice boots. They are kind of like a good hiking boot. They take time to break in and conform 100% There is a time period where your foot gets used to the boot and the boot gets used to your foot. Then BOOM look out~!~ As far as the product evolving: Unfortunately I don't see me doing this like the lone ranger skate maker. I would love to see one of the big guys bring me on an turn me loose.
