  1. SICK~!!!!!!! LOVE THE ALL WHITE> ALWAYS WANTED ONE ALL WHITE JUST LIKE THAT. TOO BAD MY POCKETS HAVE SO MANY HOLES IN THEM.
  2. Total waste of time trying to save a worn out handle. Been there done that. Unless you want to have it restrung and save $10.00-20.00. Pitch it and buy a new one~!
  3. How does a fin hold a National record? ?
  4. Loving my new Nissan Titan can't even tell the boat is back there....
  5. @SkiJay I have nothing to do with blades. Most are somewhat of a copy of someones ancient engineering. Again I am not being disrespectful at all. I admire the heck out of where you have gone with the fin biz. I was just thinking on how to market your product to make more money.FYI I did make a few fin designs back in the day and threw tons of money into the trash making fiberglass, carbon, kevlar, dyneema, spectra and a billion combinations of those materials and even 6-4 titanium fins. Come to find out that the best ones were titanium but wet tested almost the same as the aluminum fins costing 1/100th of the price in materials with minimal machining time compared to the titanium. So I totally understand where you are coming from. I was looking at a marketing perspective where if you asked a little less per fin you would make more money by producing more product. Though, I guess if there are not enough skiers to buy the product to begin with then you are correct and should raise the price.?
  6. @SkiJay OH AND THAT FIN LOOKS FANTASTIC. I AM SURE RECORDS WILL FALL~!
  7. @SkiJay I understand the thousands of hours you have to put into design. I totally appreciate the time and effort. I did the same thing many times designing waterski and speed skating equipment. The money I threw in the trash can was phenomenal but R & D is what makes it all happen. In my mind though I just have to eat most of those costs to have a marketable product. My price is little higher than most of the competition even though my products are much more expensive to produce and there is a world of difference when it comes to performance, quality, reliability, and longevity. So again I can appreciate everything you are doing. I just can not justify 300 for a fin for my usage. I am sure there are a few that would go there to try to get another ball or two, but it would seam to make more sense if they were 100-150 or even up to 200 and many many more people bought them to create users, proof, and consistent cash flow. I am not sure my reasoning works with fins but it was crucial for me to get my products on as many feet on the ice as possible in order for them to get to the Olympics winning medals to create the proof. Sorry if this seams like a rant. It is not, just me thinking out loud.
  8. @ALPJr Prayers for You / Him. And Santa needs to bring me a new ski but I have been a Bad Bouy so I doubt it will be under my tree......HOHOHO
  9. 300 for a fin seams a bit ludicrous but if need balls.........
  10. Like @BraceMaker says. scuff and use contact cement. Barge shoe glue works great.
  11. A heat gun will remove all stickers. A little WD-40 will remove all sticker adhesive residue. Get 'er did~!
  12. Chop carbon and a little resin fill and lightly sand. Good as new!
  13. Look like the (Reflex Style) boots Quantum was selling sometime back. I have done lots of testing on this set up. The release has to move back less than 1/8" if the block on the back of the front boot is cut down. That set up does not look like it would release correctly from the pix its hard to tell if there is enough clearance
  14. I'll go 800 if you really want to get rid of it now PM me.
  15. Masterline has these for sale if you are really serious about building skis. I built the press. The molds came from the CarbonWorx Outlaw which was a decent ski back in the day
  16. Did not like these gloves. The palms got slick after the first part of the season. Lost grip and the velcro popped open so I had to lengthen them.
  17. @dchristman Yes they float. @bishop8950 There are several different layers of foams some stiff some soft to make the perfect ankle system. They are all thermo and molded to the skiers foot casts before manufacturing the boot, then glued in with some serious shoe glue during the manufacturing process. Toungs can be made soft for maximum forward flex or stiffeners added to get more tip pressure. Regardless they allow the knee to drive deep forward just like the Olympic speedskating boots where dorsiflexors need to go DEEP~!
  18. @mmosley899 My padding does not absorb water like liners so it is dry when you take the boot off and does not ever smell. The synthetic suede super grip White Lightning base material is antibacterial and dries super quick also.
  19. Why is there a need for an external liner? Padding should be an integrated part of the boot not a disconnected liner.
