  1. @twhisper thanks for the input and I couldn't agree more. This will be my third season in the double reflex set up and I'm liking it more all the time despite the input I get on the dock to put a rear Wileys on my ski. Most of my decision to go with the double hard shell set up was info I read from yourself. I'm sticking with it
  2. Being a club member gives our family access to a group rate for insurance, a great group of people to ski with and allows us to ski and board in local tournaments. We live on a public lake so don't need a club access but we do use the club course and jump. We use our own boats and will usually rotate boat use.
  3. I use baby shampoo to put on my wileys its better for your skin and not as hard on the rubber. Keep them out of the sun
  4. How do you explain Terry Winter on double reflex Just askin
  5. @pq2 is this where the wake open is in April. Coming down to this event if it's the same place I'll bring my ski along
  6. We try to ski year round here on the island and were on the same page as @schafer
  7. Ya really EH what a bummer
  8. A2 lets me get into a stacked position after the ball before the boat pulls me 190 lb 67 inch ski

    Tower on a 200

@skinut no different than having a third person in the boat. when I had the boat shipped out the tower was off and a strip of sea deck was on the deck surface to cover the mounting holes I think there were about five studs on each side. took two guys to lift the tower popped the speakers out and tighten up the bolts took about twenty minutes. Probably the same to take it off. These towers are very easy to use leans forward. we love it @escmanaze that is a great picture. You'll for sure snap a rope or do other damage before you ever compromise the tower. I would stick with the stock Nautique tower

    Tower on a 200

We have one on our 2011 -200 We love it it's a great tool for new slalom skiers and great for trick skiers trying out new flips We have pulled jumpers up to 150 feet or so and have had no complaints I run into -35 and have never hit the tower pulled a few guys into -38 and no complaints
  14. I also stopped on for a bit of this The thing that impressed me the most was the pros interaction with the crowd especially the kids Great event
  15. I have a tower on my 200 and although its not a club boat I do use it quite a bit for camps at our club. For me its a definite asset. for kids learning how to get up on a slalom ski it gives them that extra little boost they need. For trick skiers trying that new trick or flip for the first few times the added height helps out and there's always a few kids who want to wakeboard. In my opinion a multi purpose boat is going to sell before a hard core 3 event boat or slalom boat. For resale you never get your money out of a used boat the value is in how much use you or your club get out of it
  16. @Horton Ya look him up on the waterski wakeboard canada web site. He jumps on Goodman skis if you can believe that. I have it from a good source (his Dad) he was using two right Goodman skis when he landed that 190 ft jump
  17. Connelly Pinett 190 ft jump Keep your eye on this young man
  18. Why is it that we have these problems with officials in towed watersports. Why do some officials have such a big ego. Seems to be a very clicky for the most part why does it have to be like that. All of these JR athletes work so hard to get to this level they shouldn't be let down over a bad judgment call.
  19. Darren and the crew have looked after me for years out here on the west coast. Absolutely the most knowledgeable and helpful shop around they know there stuff. I needed a wake board for my kid and Darren had his dad take it down to the Clipper ferry and sent it to Vancouver island that day I had it that afternoon you cant get any better than that. @Mike Gile sure helps that you used to work there hows the hands from assembling all those jump bindings
  20. Is there a Mastercraft sponsorship coming for the Horton family?
  21. I wonder how much foreign coin is pumped into the US through watersports. Boats, equipment, tourism, coaching, exc I bet not to many US families come up to Canada and spend a couple weeks on a waterski vacation. "EH" If you do thanks for the support Just saying
  22. Canada killed it That's what happened and Yes most of them are in Florida year round But so is Joel Poland and any other top jr who wants to compete. Any Amateur sports are generally family, (self )supported Trust me I`m supporting a wakeboarder who wants to be pro in the next two years if you want it you better be prepared to pay for it. The way I see it, it keeps him focused and out of trouble and in the long run that's way cheaper for me Sorry im way off the topic
