  1. @Rednucleus waters about 43 deg And is tolerable in the black tec I also have a heater top over my full suit. I’m quite comfortable for 6 passes, stoping at both ends. Since I started wearing this my dry suit has been on the hanger. My hands give out before anything else. One more skiable day left on Monday for the year. Happy new year
  2. The ramp was a little sketchy.my wife had more gear on than I did. She’s such a good sport. Merry Christmas every one
  3. Great podcast guys @MarcusBrown your flog on about so many issues I’m one of those guys who can’t get enough information. Keep em coming
  4. @MarcusBrown any video of this athletic position Who does it the best that you have seen Thanks
  5. @skialex yes I am Shawnigan lake South Vancouver island. The only thing that stops me is the occasional snow fall that blocks off the boat ramp in the winter Addicted
  6. This is why I think it’s also important to try out different coaches and find one who makes sense for you. Asking advise about ski adjustment is huge for me and @Chris Rossi and @brooks are awesome at giving feedback I’m constantly listening, reading about technique and analyzing my own skiing Through video The good knowledge is out there, you just have to figure out what knowledge is good and works for you
  7. @AdamCord that ski turns and holds angle like crazy Nice work
  8. Only 4 passes today in the 45 deg water A little hard on my hands Time to break out the winter gloves
  9. Picking on the old guys again. It’s the same 100 people following every one
  10. I found that the neoprene gloves are to spongie and I can’t get a good grip
  11. I ski cold water quite a bit and have tried a variety of gloves and liners.and the silicone on the front The best thing I’ve found is wearing a pair of rubber gloves underneath my ski gloves. A mechanics or medical glove. I like the mechanics glove with a longer sleeve that goes a little higher up your forearm, the best Keep them as dry as you can, I keep my hands up in the air every time I drop.
  12. @Luzz great interview. How do I slow the talk speed down. It’s way to fast for some reason. @EM_ great story. So many people have a tough time in school With bullying. Great skiing. Keep it going I was registered for hilltop but couldn’t get across the Can / US boarder and had to give up my spot. Would of been great to see you ski. Hopefully next year.
  13. Fill a 5 gall pail up with RV antifreeze. Pull the fresh water pick up hose off and suck up the antifreeze until it blows out the exhaust. Run the motor up to temperature first. Is there a heater in the boat. Find out if it’s hooked up to the closed cooling system.
  14. @rodecon the repair plate showed up today seems to be a snug fit
  15. @twhisper 100% agree with the random guy theory. I try to do something distracting while their talking. Good coaching is priceless. @Horton isn't this part of doing volume sets. In the winter and early spring I’ll do the same pass over and over until I’m at 90- 100% Working on muscle memory and try to practice good habits. Gates, timing, positioning exc I’m by no means a short line skier, but sure trying hard to get there.
  16. Got out for a set today and ran the boat for about 45 min. Everything held together just fine. But I tell ya it’s in the back of my mind, if and when it’s going to pop the distributor cap off. More than likely my wife will be driving.
  17. Thanks I didn’t know that @Jody_Seal
  18. I didn’t know that thanks @
