Started a thread asking about upgrading from PP to ZO , and I ended up speaking to Tim at inboard solutions,(Awesome guy and conversation ) and promptly gave me the answers, that I didn't want to hear .... My 2004 SN 196 Excalibur , can be upgraded , but because of the electrics with the keyless ignition , I get the most expensive option. Roughly 5500.00 OUCH !! my question , aside from giving up 55 Benjamin's for 2016 Technology on a 11 year old boat, Is it really worth it ? I ski 6-8 sets a week almost year round ( S Florida !! ) , haven't skied a tournament in a decade , but id like to start back up tournaments next season, and I could qualify for nationals if I run what I run in practice .... Thoughts ? Thanks guys , Happy skiing

Anyone have any hints tips instructions or you tube video on replacing a starter on a 04 SN 196 with a PCM 5.7 ? Yesterday in the middle of our sets , it only clacked and chattered when trying to start .... Possible low voltage or solinoid ? Thanks

He skis just like my GF never outside the wake ..... And I see they get to put up with jet skis also .... That's a relief

My logic is that harder course at home = easier course at tournaments .. Although now that I've thought about it for a while I think I set it up to 37 8 3/4 .... Does that sound right ?

Question I bought and installed a slalom course from @Ed_Obermeier , almost exactly a year ago ... I set the arms to the outside tolerances What have you other guys set up yours at ? Any benefits to outside tolerances vs inside or middle tolerances ?? Other than the obvious ? And Ed you never did come down and ski with me on it !! It's always warm in October here
