Was flying back from LA to Florida, and spotted this wonderful place. @Horton, was trying to find your lake on the way into Santa Monica, but the route was just too far south to see you from the air. I did notice a small airstrip on the GPS that might me next door to you, paridise ranch airport?

Anyone using synthetic oils?

Lake wauburg, Gainesville Fl. Skied in a handful of tournaments there, and there was always stoppage for a passing gator or two ... Never thought why everyone always made it back to the dock after skiing ....

This might be a stupid question, and seeing that im at least 15 years removed from my last tournament ... Why cant you run a C tournament with the ELR tournaments ? All the junior judges drivers can get their time in during the breaks while the C classes ski... Most of those entrants wont be running more than a few passes anyway ... Get more people families out to the sites, and this is really the experience we all are trying to push arent we ? An extra 20-30 skiers max will just add to the bottom line, no ? The most awesome tournament i ever skiied in was up in Jacksonville victory lakes, there was a storm hitting down in s fla, and the miami record got cancelled, and a lot of those guys came up and skied. Any time you got to see Andy ski , it was always a great day.

Do your C tournament results go towards your rating at all ? Its been a while since ive done a tourney EP was the rating that got you in the nationals back then

I have had mine for about 6 weeks i suppose .... About 30 sets on it so far ... First month i had my DFT set wrong , but since i have the new numbers on the fin, ive been running right up to my PB each set im out on decent water. Only ski ive ever been on that i can make up ground on a -38 pass.

Have to be at DFW for three weeks in July is there any good skiing holes nearby ?

The guys i ski with convinced me to go to a fat boy handle, and now I can do 2 6-8 pass sets without my hands hurting. It took a few weeks for my forearms to adjust, but my hands are finally not hurting all the time.

Boat quit just after starting skiing today , now when i go to power up the boat i dont hear the FCC running ( if thats what it was) how long do the FCCs usually last ? 1060 hours on it .... I changed the filter 200 hours ago ... Also cleaned some contamination out of anti siphon valve for last fuel related problem Thanks

@Horton Is that committed to memory? I would bet it is , thankfully those numbers havent been trapped in my mind ..... Yet ... I am never able to forget numbers .... And yes i set my fin that far off .... unintentionally .. The next question is should i just go correct it? Or ease my way back to the correct numbers ?

How far off is a .10 inch difference in DFT measurement .... Ahhhh close enough ? Or a city block ? Curious after reading fin whispering

What symptons were you having ? My PP giving me fits last few weeks.... Timers stopped working completely. Called PP yesterday and they felt it was a bad smart timer... New one on the way from SIA everything else seems fine
