  1. I heard a rumour that if you ever question the importance of being stacked @Horton will appear at the end of your pass in scuba gear and will pull you under.
  2. @YumpR Radar Senate, Radar Vapor, and D3 ION-S are all good choices for your level and interest in the sport. I have the D3 and it absolutely shreds yet is still super user friendly. @drew will be more than happy to get you dialed in on a D3.
  3. This off season I added frequent running to my repertoire. Should help me be in way better shape for ski season!
  4. It’s awesome that @eleeski loves tuning skis that way and seems to understand it enough to make it work for him. Though, I still have zero interest in taking my new D3 and turning it into a D4, D5 and D6 in my next three sets.
  5. Going to get a bunch of course lessons from JMAC. He seems to have a magical ability to get the most out of my skiing.
  6. I say go for a Radar senate in the best build that you can get within your budget. @pbrb
  7. The only difference is the graphical appearance
  8. @richfoster @Horton or straight from the office of unspecified services.
  9. Great accomplishment! Good thing that you didn't 5 that pass like @rico
  10. I read this update about the new fin: The chevrons reduce cavitation, maintaining the ski tail’s depth in the water under duress. And their upward angle increases their efficiency as roll angles and smear levels increase. This maximizes tail support when you need it most—during the high-speed, tight turns that typically follow late, narrow, scrambling approaches. The pro model increases tail hold so much, it can be run .030” to .040” shallower than the original WhisperFin, which in turn further reduces tip-rise out of turns and increases acceleration. Sounds exciting!
  11. @wonwoolee The Syndicate OMNI that you have is a great ski that can be used for competitive athletic skiing but it can also be used for lower levels or just having fun.
  12. Any update on what makes this one better??
  13. Interesting. It's always insightful to hear opinions from various people about certain skis.
  14. In @JoelHowley latest video, he was coaching a skier on a Goode when mentioning that he has extensive experience on Goode skis. He then said that Goode skis require a "double pump" after the edge change before the turn because they do not rotate easily without this movement. He said that this is caused by them riding very high in the water and having a large forebody. Do Goode skiers on this forum agree with that?
  15. @jipster43 you are gonna love the D3 ION-S, it's so easy to ski well on!
  16. @jipster43 Get an Ion-S then you will be on the same ski as Nate Smith and I
  17. I am using the 2019 Vapor vest which is what became the Tidal vest. I love it. Great fit and finish. @Killer
  18. I also guessed right. I just didn't win the draw.
  19. I got the men's podium and the score. Did they say who won the ski?
  20. Radar Senate and if he needs to get up with it and a drop ski for a little bit as he gets back in fighting shape then that's ok.
  21. I absolutely love my 67" D3 ION-S so I'm not interested but I do say that the KD seems to be a fantastic ski. What is it that you don't like about the KD?
  22. I know that Matt Rini is a whoop guy. Do you guys ski in your whoop? Do the other wearables translate to skiing at all? Fitbit etc.
