So if I'm standing on the swim platform, foot in binding, binding on ski, I can lift my heal up about an inch inside my boot befor freely. Other than that one upward movement my foot feels pretty secure. Recently I've been wondering if my heal being free to move upward like that is having a negative effect when in the course?? Any theory's welcome...

In Oregon most fisherman behave like they are Native American and skiers are the foolish white man on sacred ground coming to slaughter their buffalo. The only solution here is if they're not catching, they reel up and hightail it like you caught them with their pants down.

@lpskier As Kris was throwing my bindings on a demo, he asks me a few questions, then says hang on a minute... He quietly walks over to his car and comes back with his personal ski. He says, this is the ski I'm using in the Big Dawg this weekend, I think it will work great for you. We had a drought that year in the PNW and the lake was extremely shallow!! I answer, man, I don't know, what if I do something stupid and bang your ski up? He responds with no expression, I have a back up ski in my car. With some tips he gave my 2nd set was the smoothest 32 and 35 I've ever ran in my life and the earliest I've ever been to one ball at 38.
