  1. @Chef23 your progress has been phenomenal considering the time off and health issues you faced last year.
  2. @Sivota so sorry late night fat finger on the iPad. Issue has been resolved.
  3. At the age of 70 having never been serious about course skiing I entered my first tournament, I was hooked! Entered state tournament, placed first then entered regionals and placed third. Taking advantage of placement I competed at Nationals. Ran my opener and had a fantastic experience. Still hitting it hard and ran a PB yesterday that was my ultimate 2017 waterski goal. What an addictive sport. I highly recommend competing in tournaments as everyone there has been supportive and friendly. Time waits for no man.
  4. I agree with@Bdecker, you hadn't performed the "test drive" and the buyer obviously had no such constraints. I usually tell the buyer that the first person with cash is the owner. There will be other boats that suit your needs down the road. Best time to buy in my opinion is Nov-Feb. I understand you're in Canada and that could make a water test difficult.
  5. Amazing! If it isn't convenient to have it serviced perhaps you can log it when you add fuel and keep track of the hours. If you figure 5 gallons per hour you should be very safe.
  6. I have a 2004 SN196. Mounted the puck under the dash on right side of helm. No problems at all.
  7. Profile front boot and HRTP is a good combo. Not hard on the wallet either.
  8. I'm a Nautique guy, had one since 97 but the new MasterCraft has a sweet wake. I actually prefer it at 15 off.
  9. I went from a Vector to Profile, the sizing is accurate and the fit is great. Much more control, I use a HRTP and it has improved my scores.
  10. @klindy must have hit disagree by mistake. I fixed it.

    MY NEW TUG

Did you flip boats for the money?
  12. Engines need to be run, not shut off for months on end.
  13. @Horton, you can do it, run 39 with the magic ski!,
  14. I love my Radar HRTP. Releases when necessary but provides a solid feel.
  15. Yes. Much better pull from center but still undesirable for me.
  16. Well done. I viewed the eclipse from an island on our lake in SC. It was an incredible event.
  17. On my 2004 Excalibur 330 it holds 4.5 quarts when using a FL-1A filter.
  18. The D3 likes the cooler water plus Austin is a great coach. I'll be there tomorrow.
