    On a 2004 no need to remove pump. Loosen and remove serpentine belt. Remove 3 Allen bolts from front of pump. Pull impeller out and replace. 10 minute job.

    I find it much easier to ski multiple passes with my Masterline Pro Lock gloves. Deep water starts are easier also.

    @Fatroll, I used right palm up,RFF for 20 years. When I switched to left Palm up still RFF it made a big difference on off side pulls. Much more balanced and easier.

    +1 on Hydro Hoist. I have owned 2 of them and they are virtually maintenance free. The lake I am on is used for hydro generation and can vary in depth by 8'.
