  1. We're going to Mystic Lakes in Kansas
  2. @OB1@Horton@skidawg, I'm just going off past experience when we tried to run an unsanctioned cash event at LLUSA and where told by then IWSF if we didn't sanction it actions would be taken against all involved. @Horton I guess there's no distinction only that of Open. I think it's a great idea just hope he can pull it off.
  3. @skidawg you might want to check I don't think IWWF will let "pro skiers" ski in events that are not sanctioned, just sayin. Good luck with the show!!
  4. @paco we got our 2016 Malibu 6 liter ready to go and only 2.5 hours from you, best priced Malibu in the country at 47000 only 273 hrs
  5. @skiinxs thanks for the reminder, the winged rudder killed the acceleration, I kept two rudders and would swap out to a wingless rudder for jumping, the 98-99 boats were bad to role up on there sides when going around islands, thus the chine lock, you could actually hook the back end and keep most of the chine lock out
  6. @LeonL and@JodySeal, the boat in question was a MC, late nineties edition, they would easily chine lock, I put one on the bank twice at Trophy Lakes, sponsons were attached to each side to correct this issue, actually it was pretty easy to make it chine lock
  7. We charge 1250 for individual and 1450 for family bring your own boat storage is included, college team pays 2150 for both semesters and boat house on lake (30 members)
  8. That is one heck of a price, I sold one last year for 37500 and thought that was low, this boat ought to go quick
  9. @Horton KLP was never a worl champion until this, I've had several discussions with him about this, close in Italy when Robby Zucchi won
  10. Texas6 the econo-bear trays OB1 pic work great no pets
  11. @lpskier when end course film is reviewed of skiers in a division and the pattern driven by that particular driver is directed toward helping skiers at each buoy to enhance their score instead of maintain centerline, I consider that pattern driving.@TravisNW Chad is dead on pulling each skier differently, or as I say responding to their needs in order to maintain centerline and give each individual the same pull. Pulling Chad, Jay Leach, and KLP all require a different feel, giving KLP what Chad needs would leave him dead in the water and vice versus, but then again pulling drivers/skiers will always get you a review.
  12. @bigtex2011 a good driver having an off day may still be better than most drivers good days. Scores are higher in C events because of the stuff that is allowed to go on. I good driver can make you run a pass you had no chance of in practice in a class C, take that for what it's worth. As for narrowing the tolerance there's not enough drivers that can meet the requirements as they are, I've seen way too much video.
  13. @lpskier there are drivers that when their "on" can take that deviation and make the most of it, it's all about the feel you get from the boat, the lake, and especially the skier. That deviation is a lot to play with given the right circumstances, and if it's in tolerance it's in tolerance. Believe me I know how this work and when you've got it going things roll.
  14. @bishop8950 I would emphasize drive as much practice as you can, intercollegiate is another way to get a wide range of abilities and situations, being a skier helps more than you will ever know, I've seen very few good drivers that couldn't run 35/38 off. Always work with your judge and know where your skier is, whether it's pulling CP or @ChadScott everything is critical and you better be one step ahead of the skier, reacting in shortline slalom will get you killed
  15. My fault for leaving Greg Chapman off that list, and many others. The smaller group is the 240 jump club drivers I imagine that is 6-7, maybe wrong
  16. This is a south central issue along with drivers committee
  17. @jdarwin I know for a fact none of the southern region directors had anything to do with your situation
  18. @Ralph Lee into 43 off is a small club as Chad likes to call it. Someone correct me but as I know the following drivers have driven 43 off slalom: Les Todd, Gordon West, Will Bush, Jody Seal, Chris Eller, Tommy Harrington, Chad Scott, Becky Lathrop and myself
  19. @ skidawg. Ward I assume you are referring to Texas no scores have been pulled and no suspension is expected so please quit jumping to conclusions. I've seen the boat path so please let our organization work as it's suppose to. Btw, by tomorrow this board will have the lakes in question being drained. @gregy deviation is a great tool if you know how to use it at the right time, say for training purposes.
  20. If you feel like posting it post it only the board makes the decision committees only recommend they dont decide your elected board does
  21. There isnt a witch hunt, AWSA hasnt pulled any scores talk to IWWF. The AWSA drivers committee reviews the boat paths/times and reports to the board which meets in January. Amazing how so many who know so little jump to conclusions things always seem to work out
  22. @paco skiers marine does not nor have they ever had a MC promo
  23. @LeonL that was either Jay Estes or Rambo's boat, Jay is no longer on the program, couldn't sell his boat, Ray is still the coordinator and he still has his 14. We sold our 14 for $37,500 425 hrs that did us in
  24. @LeonL Eddie hasn't had a promo boat in years, he got out about when I did 2012, there aren't any 2015/2016 promo MC boats in Alabama or Georgia, the only one in TN is Gregg Webb and it is a 6. Things have changed, not sure if Rambo's falling out with MC had anything to do with it or not, we stayed with Rambo.
