  1. Wild reptiles can be unpredictable. If they are being fed, that's a different deal...we will be their food perhaps. American Alligators are different than Bull Gators. Salt water Crocs are the real scary ones!
  2. Only used mine for about six sets it did stretch some.
  3. I've never had that kind of luck with an alternator. If you ski on A big lake or way away from help, may be good to buy a new one. If not you could run it until it quits.
  4. I'm notorious for bad crashes... Out the front, back sideways etc. I use to not be this way feel like I may be getting back to staying in the proper position. I will just say I've had many very bad crashes with the Swiss/Reflex set up with no ankle or knee injuries. I know it can happen (I just knocked on wood!) but far better than the Conelly HP high wrap I used for years. I tried the Animal loved the feel/support but was afraid of it. I loved the HP's! Still feel the HO is the way to go @Chris55 think you will adjust to it and love it.
  5. I took it as a safety deal I use the white cuff reflex and started using a hardshell back in 95. Prior to that broke my ankle several times in hard rubber. To me it's been great going to the hard shell from a lot of perspectives safety being a big one. I thought I saw in a product video where there is a mechanism built into the rear of the HO and perhaps the Edge as well that gives a bit more control moving the ankle forward verses the on or off of the Reflex maybe not if so my bad.
  6. Thought I saw something in the rear of the boot that would slow down forward ankle flex ion.
  7. What about the deal in the back of the boot that steadies the forward ankle move?
  8. Either one will be lord safer than the Animal I say spring for the extra 70 and get the HO.

  10. Keith Menard I have a Masterline I used once I can sell you at a good price if your interested.
  11. Spit works in the swim goggles too!
  12. Did not know it existed!
  13. Bruce, I was thinking of the same use it in a C.
  14. That's a tough one but I would say the medium based on how the large fit me. Just trying to help you have to make that call!
  15. A well written rule change perhaps?
  16. Well seems there could be some logical fix for that.
  17. That being said can it just be changed in the rules to give the slalom skier the option to use trick mode and not involve E-controls?
  18. I agree let's get this setting we need all the help we can get. Like the ESPN show "Come on Man"!
  19. Large worked fine on me. Vest offered good protection. (took a very bad spill it did good)
  20. Thanks John. So one last question. If I am lucky enough to qualify and I think I would ski on Thursday can if I finish in time can I ski the tournament round on Thursday as well?
  21. So the event starts at 6pm after Nationals official practice except 9am Saturday?
  22. I face planted at the gates on my first ski ride with the Stokes vest. Thought I was going to end up in a Pine Tree patch really bad multiple head over heals fall. Vest protected me as well as can be expected. In regards to size, I am about 6' tall 197 pounds with close to a 36 inch waste and the large fit me fine. It was tight when try but once wet is the size I prefer. Same with an Eagle.
  23. I'm 5'11 197 with a 35.5 inch waist I think a 43 chest. Just tried on the large. It's tight (dry) but when it gets wet I think it will work. I will post back on Sunday and let you all know. I just went straight off the chart size.
  24. Crap I hope the large I ordered fits me! Will find out later today when it arrives.
