  1. I think there is a slightly different program for warranty transfer from a “commercial” use vs personal, but it can have a warranty. Bit less hours and didn’t cover vinyl and maybe a few other things. At least it was like that a little while ago.
  2. Get a Prostar and keep it in the ski racks! Could be a budget breaker though! The ski it again fleece ones are nice too but don’t have a fin protector. Not sure what you guys are doing in the boat that would need that much protection, unless you are throwing in nautique side lockers.
  3. With paddles like that maybe he should try barefooting?
  4. Very cool video footage indeed.
  5. Thanks @Drago I didn’t see the2nd page. Has anyone replaced the overlay? How hard is that?
  6. Lost a t factor lace lock. Do I call them or is this an “off the shelf” item?
  7. @tjs1295 I believe the upper peninsula is called the U.P. (You pee). You get there by crossing “the bridge” aka mackinaw bridge. So, “up north” or northern Michigan is still below the bridge…. At least to the folks in southern Michigan….
  8. Assuming the restoration includes the exterior, if there were to be a vote, my vote would be to tape over a rectangle area with “the guarino bambino” and leave that as is. Nice clean shiny gel everywhere else and leave that in the back. Just because…. You could always remove it later, but it’s almost too good to get rid of, in a weird way. Agree we need a Resto thread. Especially if you go restomod on it.
  9. @DAKERS You may want to post similar inquiry on the “big 3” forums / MC, bu and nautique. I would think there are certainly guys there using some dollies, and I assume there are far more folks on there to reply than BOS since it’s all watersports vs just slalom / 3 event people.
  10. 91-94 all day. 93 S&S, I prefer blue. The 93 limiteds were cool too. And one 93 unicorn was silver flake. 25,000th MC or something like that.
  11. Will probably need account for boat gas octane type when shooting.
  12. I hope to meet @thager someday, he seems like a guy who always has a good time.
  13. Forgot about 206. Also hard to find. Probably harder than the MC214. I looked years ago. They must have only made 5 a year back in the day, or nobody is / was selling. Not to pick on @Blake5982 (nice tug), but There was an option for full spotter seat with flip open back or something, I’d try to find that. More seating…
  14. The Prostar observer seat is big so you can easily fit two adults there. Or two and small kid etc. As mentioned plenty of space behind observer seat for jackets etc. The ski racks are a key. You mentioned a few skis. You can easily get 4 skis on the boat and not interfere with anything. Still have a ton of space behind driver seat in the floor for cooler, wet jackets etc. And massive (relatively speaking) walk thru passage on the spotter side. Rear seats and tower will allow more people and the high tow point. The rear little storage things can fit at least two ski ropes and more in each, so they are useful. I’m also in the camp the bow isn’t super useful for heavy loads. Especially on public lake. Unless maybe you loaded the back seats with people also to level the boat back out. ? I know if you have 2-3 small kids up there and 3-4 people between driver seat and spotter seat, the front is low….. all the weight is in front of motor / center of boat. Bow cover is awesome and easy to access. A bit heavy to fully remove - ideally two person job to be careful. The nautique rear cubby locker things hold a lot but also take up interior space and in my opinion make the boat seem smaller inside. And if you have a whole bunch of wet stuff in there they need dried out. But, some folks love them. Sounds like a MC 214 would be right up your alley but they are getting harder to find. Won’t ski as good as newer boats you are considering, but you didn’t mention what level you are expecting for ski wake. The older malibu sun setter always comes up too for this application, but if you are looking at maybe new, I doubt you want a 20 year old boat. I’m not familiar w new malibus. They seem to have deeper open bow and also have ski rack option I think. Agree with above to try and check some boats out?
  15. Just get a grease hose extension. It will thread in where the Zirk goes and you can then route to wherever you want.
  16. Call these guys, they can ship you a kit, just need a broker to ship to Canada, which is just a phone call I guess. Not sure on $$ for that. You would need to assemble though, which isn’t bad. Either way shouldn’t be $25k. http://www.lakesidelift.com/
  17. The nautique dealer can sneak you in to flash an ECM? I don’t know much but it seems like that would be a quick parking lot task?
  18. I’ve always seen very good reviews of floe. I think they have a EZ leveling feature if some sort? Shoremaster looks like many of the others out there. Important things: Canopy, and access to side of boat vs big crossbar in your way. Get vertical guides vs the side bunks of you want to be able to wipe boat down after use.
  19. I can’t help on the engineer gloves but I’m using older radar boa gloves, maybe 2018 or so, not sure what model. Anyway, the boa thing is awesome. I had 2-3 pairs of 41 tails before and the fit around the middle Velcro was off and or wore out. 41 tail + boa would be a good glove, it doesn’t exist. Anyway if you can’t get the engineer to work I’d try next model down that still has boa.
  20. Everyone happy with t factor releasing ok?
  21. Clearly an example of the wrong octane milk with his Cheerios that morning. I blame the parents. 93 octane milk, and he would have cleared that jump by 10 feet.
