  1. +1. Very happy w OJ, on the 2nd boat now. Parts and service. They were helpful when I was trying to reduce -22 hump on the 94 Prostar. Ordered backup prop for different boat and found a T-shirt in the box! Had it on few days ago. @GaryJanzig just call oj and tell them what you have and what you are doing. You will likely speak to Eric / owner. Get what he says and I’d be shocked if you are not happy. The cnc vs original prop will be nice upgrade.
  2. ^^^. Nice job. Those are hard to find, I looked for a while 5-8 years ago. I swear they must have only made 5 a year…. You should be happy. Make sure to report back. Enjoy summer.
  3. Do you have a rear tow eye? Or two rear tie down hooks? You can get adaptor for that. Maybe not ideal but would be worth a shot vs tower.
  4. I would investigate the latest model backseats to see if they can be fit in. They are much lighter and easier to handle. Unless you plan to leave in 100% of time.
  5. Scott lake is a submersible. That would be a good one since the lake is tucked down low (wind block). Buddy said it skis nice. I’ll send this to him and see if he can help you out with a contact. @MZito
  6. Can you put up walls around the lake to stop the wind? Oops, wrong walls….
  7. Is radar doing other demo days? I couldn’t find anything on their website or online. Could be search/user error though.
  8. Aluminum is too soft as it is designed. Unless it’s stainless? Need more contact surface area or harder material. Aluminum is nice since it won’t rust. As would be stainless. Great general design concept though.
  9. I think it should have been the 2023 anniversary boat. Edit: not to takeaway from the current celebration and charity which is awesome. I just think their design is crazy good…..
  10. Recommending MC teamtalk. Lots of help over there and manybkote guys with your motor (direct and V drive).
  11. Here is my list of colors that look better than white and blue flake:
  12. Wouldn’t ‘23 be anniversary year though? Still want to see it fully and know I want one.
  13. https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=60301 As stated above it seems you have a nice 3 event boat and good for slalom at higher speeds. That boat isn’t known for great wake at low speeds and long lines. If you could break even on this boat it would be interesting.
  14. Prostar tower is awesome. Comes off super easy and it’s manageable if you want to remove.
  15. You could try to trade (buy/sell) to a nautique or mailbu of similar age. Likely better to lose a few bucks there then to spend a lot more messing with current boat.
  16. I use duct tape. Copied idea from others. Looks a little strange. Works great. Just re taped part this week after 1.5 year or so I think. I did up the game and use blue tape that matched the handle rope. As least i assume you are talking about fraying on the v part from ski edge during pull ups.
  17. I like the babes as well, by the gallon. I was finding that soap seemed to be making my feet crack / dry out more. Or I made that up in my head to justify the babes.... It does for sure go away faster than soap which is nice.
  18. @eyepeeler Any hints or tips? Wife has struggled in the past.
  19. ^^^^^. Same price as the ilmor at the dealer. But the welded nut feature in the top to remove is nice!
  20. @Mastercrafter Sounds cool. Look fwd to update.
  21. I don’t know where in MI you are but I was told aquatic adventures fixes dive suits / dry suits etc. M59 and US23. I’ll likely take my “semi”-drysuit there for a look see after water warms up.
  22. Guessing you have the parts in order for hoist and can’t back out. But, have you called hoist / dock installers working xx mile radius to see if the have extra odds and ends sitting around? Maybe from someone who converted ski boat to pontoon hoist....
  23. Are your dock posts sitting on lake bottom or screwed in? I’ll assume screwed in, otherwise don’t think your be asking... Anyway, my additional comment would be to find way such that the rope is at the bottom of the post where is it anchored to bottom of lake vs tied to dock, which would cause the dock to “teeter” back and forth. If that makes sense. Make a loop on end of rope or get a metal ring to go around iir that will drop or a u-bolt. Many options. Is your boat uncovered in the snow? Whole ‘nother conversation there...
