Welcome to BOS. My $.02... I think your going to have a big challenge free skiing at 32,-32 and then trying to replicate a gate pullout in the course at 28mph (-15?) The speed of the glide, the height you need to get on the boat are all significantly different between those two speeds and rope lengths. For example, if your goal is to get to the width of the 2/4/6 buoys, the angle you need your rope to be at on the boat is going to vary pretty significantly from your free skiing setup to your course setup. I recommend you use free skiing to work on body position for things like pulling across the wake and just be conscious of using every pass in the course a chance to work on the gate timing. Feel free to post video as well.

I remove mine every time I tow since I fold my tongue, I have never added Grease to it in the 5 years I have had the boat. Is that just to make it so it can be removed? Mine has no trouble moving.

Just replaced my cap and rotor. My boat has 340 hrs and is 19 years old. I have owned the boat for 5 years and never done it to this point. It's probably the original cap/roter.

@alex38 remind me, do you use the feather, light, or normal setting?

@Keith_Menard I have 9.12 and couldn't find the wait timer in the settings either. I only run practice mode and don't have any beeps besides initial engagement and all buoy timing.

I believe it's timer to let you know to get going again. There is a background setting to adjust or remove it I believe.

Does anyone have a set not being used? I want to get a set for my wife but can't find them. All Google searches lead me to BOS.

Do the rules say if the ski has to be in the water? If there can be an aerial edge change, why can't their be an aerial turn? What a crash though. Hope the knees and ankles didn't get all twisted up. That's a nightmare type crash for me.
