  1. So I haven't decided if I will ski regionals yet. I just renewed my membership after lapsing for the last decade after college. I should qualify easily for M3 and am signed up to ski a tournament next month. I remember when I was in B3, it seemed like M3 was huuuuge, now not so much. I live 25 min away. I really have no reason not to other than it's a $125 tournament set... But in general if I can take less time off work, the better.
  2. @34mph don't use magic eraser. It's basically sandpaper
  3. You need to get an upholstery brush and a dual action polisher. You can get the polisher at harbor freight. It's well worth the investment. I use it to polish and wax the boat and cars. Way better than doing by hand. An upholstery attachment is super soft and I use it on my boat seats to get into the texture and clean out the sweat and dirt that a normal quick wipe down doesn't do.
  4. I never really have a reason to let my ski sit in the car any more. The most it will do is sit in the bed of the truck while driving to the ski site. At the site, I store it on the ski rack in the shade. In the afternoons when the sun hits our rack I cover it in a towel or try to find a shady spot. New ski site has the racks in basically the open sun so I think I'll use my wife's ski on top, mine below, and cover both with a towel and/or use a ski bag.
  5. I 100% suggest a ski school. This is from 2002 when our club went to Swiss. Thats me in the water getting coached by JP. I also had bill doster who was I think the primary photographer for WS mag get some cool shots from inside the buoy. Very good memories.
  6. @Dobrodan I would try and sell it together as a full setup as opposed to piecing it out. If you don't get a buyer then you can split it up. But that's more time shipping and having gear sit around collecting dust
  7. https://teamtalk.mastercraft.com/showthread.php?t=50554&t=50554 I may get in trouble for a link to another forum but this may have the details your looking for.
  8. Bimini down when it was calibrated with it up? Maybe you didn't eat your Wheaties and weren't pulling hard.
  9. @makeall6 I thought the whole master module had to be updated for stargazer so your buddy with an 01 wouldn't have the original PP. I think there was an issue with the very early SG modules not having enough power. PP should be able to tell by the serial number.
  10. Just double check u have it hooked up right. If your working okay with standard stargazer then it's not an issue with the puck
  11. @MISkier the inside and outside appears to be the same.
  12. I got one of these earlier this year and it is super comfortable and really warm. But I feel like I am going to dislocate my shoulder if I take it off by myself.
  13. Are you doing it correctly? @Horton demos in this video how to swap from phone to gopro
  14. I am confused, are you saying you don't have the 2 orange posts to for the rope to follow the skier? If your not happy, and looking to sell, please let me know. I want to buy one.
  15. Depending on how old your gloves are, sometimes with a bit of research you can find old stock. I loves the old ML k palms when they were blue and black. When they went green the fit was way off and the fingers were too long and skinny. I hunted the internet to find any old pairs I could. For what its worth, you may like the kpalm. I am short and "big boned" so the fit would be more suited to you than me.
  16. @hemlock I don't ski a zo boat but when I was going through my process of tightening thr times down my dad sent me this from one of his ski buddies. In the case below, they are not perfect but pretty darn close.
  17. @Keith_Menard cash out your wife's 401k. She isn't gonna need that money after she kills you for buying a pretty boat.
  18. My buddy did some drone flying and driving with me skiing a few weeks back. It makes for a nice wallpaper on the Ole work computer....
  19. 29 is referring to the length, in inches, from the tail of the ski to the heel of the front binding. This would be considered the factory setting.
  20. @alex38 no issues with the timing on my boat. I think I haven't had to remap the course since I did SG a few years ago.
  21. We have a tube for the kids for just thr purpose Horton said. I don't ski tournaments and don't intend to but it's important the kids and wife have fun on the water. Honestly my wife would rather cruise in the boat with a cocktail and music and the kids in the tube than pull me at slalom with the kids in the boat. It's probably the closest equivalent to a solo Target run in terms of happiness for her.
  22. I have used totally awesome and it does an awesome job at cleaning. It did seem to dry out the vinyl.
