  1. I was offered these two skis on trade a few weeks ago. I turned the deal down, but i was wondering what the two skis where worth. One was a 65 Connelly Concept with double boot and the other was a 65 Connelly F1 double boot. The F1 looked like this one. The Concept looked like this one.
  2. The TX superlite is made of carbon fiber and at the speeds you would be skiing at there really would not be a point in my opinion. Also would look in to buying a used ski.
  3. If I was you I would get a HO TX, HO triumph, connelly outlaw or a Radar P6. You would need something a bit wider for slow speeds like 26mph. The length for youwould be a 66 inch would be good or mabey a 67. You can also look at size charts.
  4. Is there a difference between RTP and double boot or is it a personal preference? What one do you prefer and why?
  5. I picked these up at a garage sale for only $10.
  6. I would not worry about if it was the 240hp Windsor or the 285hp Windsor HO they both make plenty of power for skiing. Do you know if it has the 1.1 transmission or the 1.5.1 transmission "powerslot"?
  7. There the 2014 attack bindings they came on the ski.
  8. I have been skiing on my CX for almost a year and every time after i'm done skiing my feet hurt so bad that I'm limping for a few minutes after. These are the first bindings that I have had that are not all rubber. I was wondering if any one would have any idea why or what I could be doing worng. Thanks
  9. Will I have not skied on any ski I would call the best ski ever, but I know my Dad would say the EP Stiletto. I have only skied on a HO CDX-1, HO Truth, and HO CX.
  10. There a great engine I ski behind a 1981 MasterCraft still running strong. The only issue you will have is that over time the carb will have to be adjusted. Also a boat carb has two floats unlike a car carb. We have only had one issue with the carb sense 1981. One tip is that if it cuts out when you hit the throttle its the carb and if that happens you can restart it and double pump the throttle and still ski. The carb should not give you any issue, but if it does there pretty cheep to fix. One other thing is every year you have to put a little gas in the carb to start it for the first time because the Holly carbs get dry from sitting over the winter.
  11. One thing I would Like to add is Last year I was able to ski on the course and I was able to ski 15off at 28mph and got all the buoys. I also skied at 32mph 15off I was able to get 5 I missed buoy 3 or 4. Thats when I learned that I need to start skiing farther out because I was just barely going around the buoys.
  12. Thanks for all the tips I'll try toget a video next time I ski.
  13. Thanks for the tips. I normally ski wider then that, but when I was skiing that day I was trying to work on my cut because it felt really weard, so I was staying close to the wake trying to find out why, but when I finished I looked at my fin and it was bent.
  14. I also would like to know if there is something I could do when free skiing that could help me get better at course skiing. What would be a good ski for some one like me trying to get into course skiing?
  15. My goal would be to get into course skiing, but haven’t been able to use the course more then 3 or 4 time.
  16. I was wondering if any one could give me some tips on my skiing? I put a link below I’m skiing at 32mph at 15off i'm also skiing on a HO CX. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B63wIw4Eqv-8U0U2LW15VHFFTk0/view?usp=sharing
