  1. @Horton is right. I work at a University Hospital and my wife (she is a physician) did research for more than 10 years about the causes of cardiovascular diseases and physical activities. I asked her to do a scientific review and there is no studies about the effect of waterski on the body or calories burn and so on. What is written on this article is not wrong and it is not scientific right or approuved if I may say so. But you can theese facts for a lot of other sports as well. Anyway sport activities is good but there is no way to compare a free waterski activity 3 to 4 times a month and a tournament waterskier who run starting at 28off to 41off. In a other hand I read many times people having a heart attack just after finishing skiing and died.....so waterski can be dangerouus and even fatal......half empty ..half full, depending from which side you are looking at the topic. Conclusion.......go skiing for yourself and don't read internet for health benefit or the opposit. We ski becaus we love it and this a good damn reason.......(sorry for my english, because I am not mother tongue english)
  2. @gregy Thank's for the tip I'llcheck youtube
  3. I have a ONeill superfreak 4/3 and it is not the best choice. Entry is okay but taking it of is not easy (front zip) espacially after skiing in 50° water and tired. I sould have bought the Camaro Blacktec for sure. Always smarter after......
  4. Go Seth.....looking forward to see your name on top. Super skier and super coach.....Mister Seth !
  5. @Horton Buford Danger she is your daughter for sure I can see she has your kindness......and she like to play....
  6. @robb I live in Switzerland and it took 8 and half weeks with surface deliveries but I got it. Don't worry you will get it and it really worth the wait. Thank you for the excellent work @SkiJay

  8. @Chet thank's and looking forward to start the new season with discipline!!!
  9. Skiing focus with a smile on my face stay healthy run the course at 34mph 15off
  10. HO Animal and RTP, the release is safe but I would like to try Reflex and a bit scare to feel my foot traped, I have a trust issue still
  11. Where I ski is apublic lake but the access to the slalom is privat so we have to join a club 175.- per year and 160.-- per hour, so 6 passes is 9 minutes...and we have a boat SN 200 with a pilot and coach. It is ok except when we have fishermen and trafic....but we can ski dowtown Geneva and I can ski at my lunch break or early morning before going to work.
  12. Mine was ordered November 25th and still did no received it yet !!!!! I am so impatient to get it reading your post....
  13. @elliehorton so great article, thank you and I am so proud to hold the ski I still using today .....and my second is aT2 Will never forget Andy !
  14. Even for a beginer like me, the analogy and explanation are very clear, espacially following the path handle and even at 15off we need to stay connect to the handle. @adamhcaldwell thank you for explaining so clearly and make it "simple" to understand.
  15. Thank you to all of you who responded to me and I think I understand the concept since when I started slaloming last year (so I have only 2 seasons under my belt) I always tried to accelerate as much as possible from the buoy to the CL and try to edge change as soon as possible right after the CL and when I am able to do that then I feel I have enough speed to get to the next buoy without slack at the turn. I think and I hope I understand how I can apply this mental focus even at 15off and looking forward to shorter the line too. Thank you to all of you for sharing your knowledge. And merry christmas !!!!!!
  16. @AdamCord what I am reading is super interesting but as a beginner slalom skier (30-32mph at15off) can I apply "going up" as a mental focus and mental technique ? As I see myself skiing at 15off, it is hard for me to imagine skiing up to the boat, it seems to me I have a too long rope. My real question is : is all your GUT theory does apply more for short line skier begening at 28off ? Anyway thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge and can wait to start the new season in 2016
  17. @Jeff_70 you should go to http://www.ski-it-again.com/ and you will find what you need at a very good price. Then you need to tell if you ski at 30mph, 32mph, 34mph or even 36mph in order to get the best help you need.
  18. In Geneva, we ski with 50F water and 40F air temp and it is cold for the head but I am fine with a blackteck or a 4/3mm O'Neill psycho. Maybe we are so used to cold water......
  19. Here in Europe, we can say huge thank you to the Vet for the Dday !!!!
  20. Did anyone ski on the T3 and can give us some reviews ? I am eager to hear !!!!
