  1. Great stories from Wade....I still have a video tape instruction from Wade, great stuff and an incredible skier and person. Thank's Marcus Brown
  2. Friend of mine has a Oneill Psycho One 3/2. Very comfortable even in cold water (55F)
  3. Thank you Thomasasher, yes it helps. I will send a text to my friend who is going to be in Orlando next Monday.
  4. Thank you guys !!! apraciate the help very much
  5. I have a size question because a friend of mine is going to Orlando and he will get me a stokes vest from Perfski. I am 6'2'' 167 pound and 40' chest and I wonder is he should get me a large or a medium knowing I like to have my vest tight especially when wet. @Thomasasher as a specialist for this product I feel I should go for medium, what do you think ? Thank you for the help anyone. Living in Geneva Switzerland It is hard to have them here so having one here I will be able to advertise the product.
  6. I feel so sorry for @Horton ......did you see the clouds in the sky ? Oh my....so sorry...!!! Seriously, enjoy every second of that moment or day.....beautiful !!!!
  7. I want to try a Edge or HO hardshell + a stoke vest. And I want to try a Mapple T3.......at Lapoint skipark !!!!
  8. Thank you to @Horton and @Thomasasher . It looks very comfortable and I think when we have the water around 60°F it should be just right. Friend of mine is going to Orlando in April and probably I'll ask him to bring me back the vest. The vest looks really nice comfortable and a good floatation too.
  9. Looks very nice and happy too. @Horton do you get some water infiltrating at your legs or is it watertight ? And the vest looks super nice too. @Thomasasher just one question how can we get them (the vest and the suit) here in Europe and specifically in Geneva Switzerland ?
  10. Working in a hospital, you do have the right attitude and you have my support even we do not know each other. The fighting spirit and your family and the waterskiers too.
  11. Actually I ride a Mapple T2 67.5 and I use to ride the O'Brien Mapple 68 and I am a 34mph skier
  12. As a novice slalom skier (I started 34mph at the end of last season) I am eager to start the new season with all the motivation necessary to apply all the excellent comments I am reading on that post. I have been watching all Andy's videos and I really try to make it simple as he said. Fast and agressive at the right place that what it makes wide and space. Thank's
  13. @lpskier CP is on a Mapple ski ? T3 or T2 ? That would be a BIG news....-:)
  14. I would hope CP will be back strong and Corey can definitly bring a Mapple ski on top of the podium this year, plus Corey is a super nice guy...!!!!
  15. @CParrish43 Looking forward to watch you back in tournament next year, happy for you
  16. The best site ever and it is worldwide !!!! Long live BAS from Geneva Switzerland, Thank you so much to everyone for sharing your advise and great tips. So thank's to @Horton for your work and spirit.
  17. Ski paradise Acapulco Swiss ski school Kris Lapoint lake and Bumpass,VA with Corey
  18. In Switzerland we have the "relax" format on cetain local tournament. If you fail and you want to go back to the slalom, then you can ask for the relax format and go back again. But you will not have any offical score for that matter. Maybe it is the same as T&B ?. I thinkit is ok and great for beginners and intermediate but for big tournament with 2 or 3 rounds, if you miss one, you have the 2nd or the 3rd to make it right and it is a part of the slalom tournament, it is also a mind game and that is why tourament PB and training PB could be far apart or not. Meaning we have to work on our focus and mind + technics. Noboby says that it is a easy sport .....but we love it don't we ?
  19. @Bill22 Thank's, my plane is ready to go....(I wish) and as you can see the timing is perfect bcause we had the last ski of the season last Friday (water temp 8°C). Hope it is nice and warm down under and if you can demo one, let me know how it feels.
  20. Running at 34mph I am trying to emulate a skier like Regina, she is so incredible and so technical...!!!!! As Horton said, her position at CL is sooo gooood !
  21. I try to keep the handle at the same level of my hip but in front of me and I try to engage my ski like the handle is a pivot point and I try to sort of turn around the handle getting angle and back arm pressure too
  22. I had 1 tournament last year and 2 this year and as a beginner I just want to score better and no matter what......I just want to improve my PB each time
  23. Great year !!! I started slalom summer 2014 and I got myself a Mapple T2 the end of 2015. I went to 2 tournaments this year and I got my PB at 3 at 32mph an ran 34mph in practice one time (60 year old this year) and I will improve next year. And thank's so much or the great BOS helping me to improve with all the super good comments and more. We will finish the season next WE in Geneva Switzerland. I think waterskiers are a special breed because 99% are so nice and helping beginners like me.
  24. Since I am skiing the course only since 3 years, I control my setting to be stock and worik on my technique. So I don't think I have enough experience to know if the ski is going well or could be better for me. But I wish I could ski with an experience coach who could tell me if I can get a better setting.....or not !! (skiing at 32mph and 34mph and getting there on a public lake)
