  1. Of course not. The birth hapen only once, waterski tournament.......every year and as many as you can go to
  2. After 2 bad falls with HO Animal and a blue ankle for 3 weeks....went to Reflex white cuff.....the best....I had 3 OTF and 1 big one no problem and very happy I swiched to Reflex. But you have to check the release system at least every 3 weeks. And better safe than sorry
  3. The Boesch boat is also the boat for the Swiss national. And the wake is ok but harder than the 200 Nautique or MC (the2 ones that I skied behind). But it is a beatifull boat for sure.
  4. I would recomend the Swiss ski resort too near Orlando. You can rent a house watching the lake, play golf to relax, great coaching with Clint or anyone and probably meet super skier. i hour drive from the airport.
  5. On the higher level, I think there is more men with RFF but in the women higher levek I think there is more LFF. I noticed that watching the swiss pro event. Any reasons ???? I have no idea. And I noticed it too at our club more women LFF than men RFF.....Maybe because men come from mars and women from venus ? I am RFF so I come from mars for sure
  6. Webcast is working great here in Geneva Switzerland. Really good quality and full screen too.
  7. @Bill22 you bet I will do everything I can to try the Mapple T3 in Europe. Looking forward to the schedule
  8. @Razorskier1 great stuff you are talking about. Any video eventually ? That would be the best for intermediate skier like me. I am trying to understand all of this and to put them together when I ski (34mph 15off skier)
  9. @CParrish43 very happy to see you back on the game and healthy. I'll watching you next Sunday at the swiss pro event. You have support even from Geneva and I always learn something when I am watching you skiing. Thank's for your accomplishment and GOOOO !!!!
  10. It will be intersteting to see the next tournament when Manon will ski head to head versus Whitney or jsut to see the scores. Congrat to Manon, I am a supporter whatever ski brand you ski on
  11. @MattP if Cale is skiing on a Denali..it will be so awsome to have another great skier on that particular ski And if CP is skiing on a Mapple T3, it will be great to have differents skis brand on the podium ! @aupatking I was joking, in Switzerland they never talk about waterski but Will Asher....of course espacially with his new Radar ski o:)
  12. @Spesh maybe you can go to this thread tha I've started bcause I am intersted too reflex-vs-ho-hardshell
  13. At the statr of the season of course and when I go to private lake coming from open water
  14. Cale Burdick of course !!! He switched from HO to Goode, he improved but not so much and now he goes to Radar. We know that even here in Switzerland, it was on the news....
  15. I'll try definitely to ski like a woman.....so consistent. She was really a great skier and I hope for her she could come back at this level.
  16. Since I cannot try them on before buying one of them, is it a big change or an improvment after skiing with a reflex and going to a HO hardshell ? What is the major difference beside the price ? I started slaloming at 34mph this year and I want to move to a hardshell. Thank's in advance for your comment
  17. Skiing in cold water and in very fresh morning, the long sleeves with shorty is good. The Stokes product with long sleeves and 3/4 legs is perfect to me. I would go for that one.
  18. I do all my slalom in open water and probably 5 times a year we go to private lake which is between 4 to 6 feet deep. It is much easier, first the water is not as hard, second we have a shorline very close and we have almost glassy conditions compare to the open water. When I ski well at 32mph on open water, I am at ease at 34mph (15off) on this private lake. And third the water temperature is warmer too...so big differences. Not to mention the psychologique effectof feeling much safer skiing on a not deep lake.
  19. @Chef23 I know that but not in Switzerland. Just the shipping would be close to 80.-- $
  20. @DW You are right about spending the money and I cannot even try them on before buying them...Tough decision !
  21. Great podcast. In Geneva,we have a club "La Nautique" and there is a boat + a coach driver etc... we have a slalom nearly dowtown. The coach driver who use to be a european jumping champion is there almost everyday for us. 6 years ago there was probably 5 to 10 regular skier. Today we start the season in March when the water was 45F and outside 48F and we are already 10 to 12 waterskiers. In May the schedule start at 07.15am to 11am then from 12.15pm to 4 or 5pm. Our coach is very very great and we are a great group of friends and from there it is still growing. The range is from 7years old to 73years old. Like they said in the podcast, if you can have a public club with a reasonable price and a great coach, the sport will grow for sure
  22. @Bill22 That is exactly what happened this morning, I could not get my foot out of the binding and I had to use soap to get it out. We still have the water at 52F. And the water is 90% kind of rough. When I skied this morning I left the binding not too tight and then I could feel my hill kind of lifting at the preturn and I don't like that. So maybe this is another reason I might go for a hardshell. I just have to decide which one, Edge or HO ??? Thank's again for all the input and informations
  23. Thank you guys:I cannot make it long but I know my OTF is not cause by the binding. My concern and this topic concern the binding issue. And of course what @Horton wrote about starting a new thread regarding "the more forward position" is absolutly right. @DW of course we have lunch with perch by the lake but the best season for eating them start in september. Then they are mature and tasty. I come back to you tomorrow. It is late here in Geneva.
  24. I just started my ski season even the water is cold (between 48 and 55F) and I just got 2 OTF trying to be more forward on my ski. I have a Animal + RTP RFF 6'2" 167pound and I ski at 32mph going to 34mph and we ski on open lake in Geneva so we don't have glassy water except early in the morning. At every OTF my foot did not come off and my ankle got hurt but not bad enough for stoping skiing. Since I am progressing and I am going to increase the speed if I OTF again, the fall will be harder and the pain could be more serious too. My question is : I feel I should move to hardshell like HO or Edge for safety reason first and more contact for second. Do you think it is a right or good move or is it too soon ? What is the difference between HO and Edge knowing Edge is 70.--$ cheaper ? Thank you in advance for your wise and experience advice, Chris
