  1. Thank's for the videos, I really like them and the talked about the controversy gave me a good explanation too. It was great and IMO no apologizes needed from no one....for me.
  2. You can watch Brooke Baldwin at the Master and you will see straight legs ......running 38off !!!!! just like that.... Horton is right. Just stand tall with your legs almost straight, scarry but it works.
  3. @Luzz Thank you for your answer and sorry for for having brought that subject on this topic, it wasnot the title. So for that matter, I have loved the webcast and I did watch it directly and it was SUPER GREAT as well as the tournament. Incredible performance men and women and looking forward for the next one in 2019
  4. But still, it would be fare to put all the entree fee together and split even between the men and the women. That is what I would do
  5. Sorry to hear that @A_B , mine doesn't look as bad. After 3 times physio, I can already put my arm on my back and put my left hand and touch my spine. I am lucky physician and surgerery improved so much these last years. MRI and such.....
  6. Thank's @Chad_Scott it makes sense, I can understand that.
  7. "Whitesmoothy" bcause skiing behind the new mastercraft it is smooth.....!!!!
  8. @Luzz Just one question, why the women get a paycheck less than the men ? They work as hard as the men don't they ?
  9. @Bdecker thank's for your comment and I started today the physio and I will keep doing it until my shoulder is strong again. I beleive I might be able to ski again mid september but no rush. I really like the brace you are wearing and I have to see if we have that here in Switzerland but for safety mind, I like it a lot.... Anyways thank's to all of you, it helps to be patient and knowing it will be fine reading others experiences. Whishing you a super summer ski :)
  10. @jhughes what bindinding are you using ? Which brand too ? I was on HO Animal and skiing in cold water (less than 50°F) the binding become to stiff and I did hurt my ankle pretty badly twice. So I switch to Reflex and it released correctly whatever the temp of the water. Just need to check often the mechanisme as Horton said. I am a 32-34mph skier and over 60y so I really do not want to hurt myself as recovery at my age takes longer.
  11. Yeap !!!! Freddie is skiing on a KD at the San Gervasio. I had a wrong guess but it was a guess :)
  12. @"Stevie Boy I wish I do but no. Living in Geneva I am far away from Orlando or tournament where it would be possible to get some rumors. About the score, since Nate is not there and it had 4 time 41off 2 weeks ago and knowing Freddie is more than capable to do it (I saw him scores that twice last year right after the world championship in France) I figure "it is his turn".....and San Gervasio had always big scores the past years, I really think it is going to be a smoking tournament. About the D3 Evo, few friends skiers who run38off to 39off said it is a fast ski and doest not bleed much speed before the buoy and I think it suits Freddie style. So no statement just my guess.
  13. And which ski Freddie is going to be on ???? I will say he will ski on D3 Evo and win the tournament with 1@43off
  14. No Nate nor Regina ???? Too bad. Someone knows why ?
  15. Thank's for your input and since I am 62 probably it is one of the reason the doc did not want to take any risk. But yes if I feel strong enough in 2 month ....what the heck I'll go skiing
  16. I had a bad fall and I dislocated my left shoulder. I did put it back in place but the doctor told me no more skiing for 3 month after watching an MRI. Did some of you had that injurie and how long did you take before skiing again and has any fear for the shoulder to dislocate again......anyway....my season is over and now I have time to watch all the tournaments on website.
  17. I say yes because of so many different things are related to computer programing like ZO, the engine and so forth......and other things I don't even know........
  18. @Horton it is okay to make this comment but I think it deserves some rational explanation. The tournament is in Spain, pretty far away from the States so who told you it was not legit and/or what is wrong ? Boat pass ? Boat ? Someting else ? Will and JT they have been knocking on that door very often this year (completing the 41off) so why not ?
  19. D3 Evo bcause it is a fast ski and it suits Freddy's style
  20. I know which ski he tested and he liked the best but it is classified ....until the San Gervasio ProAm at least......
  21. I agree and I would like to say also that "the art" is to pull at the right place for the right amount of time and with the right ski angle needed along the speed and rope length. And I think that Nate is the "kind of" master of the 3 aspects at the same time. Maybe you can call that handle managment...but I am not experienced enough to say I am 100% right with that statement.
  22. Actually @Andre asked some archives videos of Latrobe, so I assumed that @Wish wanted some archives as well. But @Bill22 at my swiss watch, it is March 5th 2018 and I am just turning 62 today so you have to excuse me and I saw my physician today and he gave 1 bad news and 1 good news. He told me I have Alzheimer and the good news is I forgot I have it. So 2018 or 2016 who cares !!!!! But seriously Latrobe will put on youtube the finals sa they did last year and 2 years ago so I will be able to watch it. To every one, have a good year and enjoy every ski moment you will have !!!!
  23. @Wish this is my link text and then you will see others. Hope it works for you. If not I can send you the link on your email. Let me know. Or just write on the Youtube "LATROBE CITY INVITATIONAL 2016 PART ONE"
  24. On youtube, you can find some finals at Latrobe, easy !
  25. @adamhcaldwell I agree with you regarding the modification on your liner and the comparaison with the handstand. I know we can have enourmous feeling with our foot and our toes as well and if we can have that feeling right under our front foot directly on the plastic of the boot, it should help with finding and having a better balance and a forward CG. We do have a ton of nervous sensors under our feet, we need to feel them. I am even tempted to ski without any liners but just a thin sock. I will let you know as we start the season in March here in Geneva. What I like about this is there is so much room for improvment.....(like the fin,I know it is another subject.....:) )
