  1. I have to say that the Reflex fin protector is really nice and totally agree with Skijay
  2. Visualize and repeat before going to ski and, when skiing ...stop thinking in the same time while skiing. Since I just got 34mph at 15off this year, I will not list because I have to work on everything but one at the time.
  3. Seth Stisher has a place at Charleston SC http://www.sethstisher.com/ Maybe he is available
  4. @eleeski Very nice writing, you can write a book ...seriously. I am lucky enough (61old) all my joints are fine but good luck for your recovery and wishing you a great next ski season. Just by curiosity where in the US do you live ?
  5. He did run it in a small village southwest of the France. They have a lake and a tournament there. Great skiing from this guy for sure
  6. @coxjon you can go to Swiss ski school or Swiss ski resort in Orlando and if you get in touch with Clint Stadlbaur, he is part owner and runs the school, great place to ski. www.swissskischool.com/
  7. I commute on my motorbike and my ski...not comfortable and not very safe so I have to leave home at 6:30am to avoid traffic but I can ski..... :-) and I almost broke a rear mirror passing a car ouppsss ! The guy was a waterskier too fortunatly and he told me it was ok and I am not kidding..it was my lucky morning
  8. Mapple T2 from the first run....beat my PB the second pass !!!!
  9. Mapple T2 64" fin length 6.790 fin depth 2.470 DFT 07.40 Binding 28.50 Just not to be confused with my first post. I did not think it would come out like this sorry
  10. 64" 66" 67.5" fin length 6.790 6.812 6.834 fin depth 2.470 2.485 2.500 DFT 07.40 0.745 0.780 Binding 28.50 29.25 29.75 Mapple T2 factory settings and in case someone needs the others settings. And I have the settings for the T1 if others need them.
  11. I have a HO Animal RFF and I find it very comfortable and I took it one size longer than my regular size. I can tight it or leave it a bit loose. I ski at 32mph to 34mph open water and no problem with release when need it. I don't want to hurt myself bcause recovery at my age takes longer time (60)
  12. Awsome video, makes me want to ski even more....
  13. I ski 97% on open water and we ski with wind, waves anything throwing at us we just go and ski. The only thing we really don't like is rollers from other boats bcause it can be dangerous. OTF hurts bad. What we do is we work most on our position on the ski. The better the stance and the easiest to handle rough water. I know I have to fight my instinct who is teling me to do the opposite of a good position which is bracing, hips back and pulling with my arms......wrong !!! I have to stand up, hips forward and handle close to my hips and ski on edge without chasing buoy or score. And when I have a good feeling on these conditions I am mentally stronger and I ski much better when it is calm or when I go on a private lake......this is desert for me with cream on the top...!!!!!! And you should see my smile on my face the whole time I ski .... I must be close to you @ESPNSkier I started slaloming 3 years ago and I am 60old
  14. Living in Geneva, Switzerland, the BOS is a huge quantity of informations for beginner slalomer like me and it should really stay that way. I am so glad Mister @Horton put this forum on the web. I say Mister on purpose because it is a lot of work behind and a lot of passion for waterski....so a lot of respect. Thank you for reminding the community for not to be an A-hole.
  15. Great great episode, I wish I could be a kid again and start competing young. These kids so motivated give me some hope for their futur too. I really love all your work Marcus and the way you are sharing your thoughts and your soul
  16. That is what waterski bring us together, the passion, the friendship and the sharing
  17. Sacha ski on a Connelly GT and for what I cheked, it is a new France record. Not to bad....
  18. Just happened this WE in France, Sacha Descuns ran 2 big scores : 4 at 41off and 5 at 41off http://www.iwwfed-ea.org/classic/16FRA031/ Getting close to run the entire pass at 41off....Sorry I don't have any pictures
  19. If you feel so comfortable on the Mapple 6.0 I would definitely try to test the Mapple T2 or even a T3 if you can. I am sure you will have a smile on your face.....
  20. I forgot to tell that last year was 6 at 28mph and this year is 4 at 34mph and 60 years old like @ESPNSkier and started slaloming for the 3rd season. Thank's to BOS for having this giant amount of informations and tips techniques etc....
  21. What is the line length ? 22off probably ....Nice pic...
  22. @Ralph Lee thank you for the description. I am asking about the T3 because I live in Geneva Switzerland, and I bought a T2 67.5 right after Andy's passing through Mappleski just before they closed down the office. And here, I don't think we will ever see a T3 unless someone would bring one frome the States. And the ski looks to work even better than the T2 and it looks soooo beautiful.....I wish I can come to Orlando next spring.... I am currently skiing at 32mph and getting 34mph 1 at of 5 passes.
  23. OK thank you very much and hope my question did not bother you. If someone have some comment about this ski.....I would love to hear it
  24. Dear @Horton, When you unboxed the T3 ski, I was very looking forward to the review and I am wondering if you are going to do a review or not because I really like your reviews and the way you discirbe skis. Thank you very much Chris (Mapple T2 skier and happy one)
  25. From an old ski to Mapple T2 it was not diffucult to have a much better PB at practice and in tournament too almost at the first ride......
