  1. @SkiJay Sorry to ask but is it worth the investment for a skier slaloming at 32mph- 34mph 15off to 22off and hoping to 28off ? Or it would be more efficient to work on better skills and techniques before buying your fin ?
  2. I really loved this episode and when I started watching I made my list with Andy, Bob Lapoint of course then CP and Nate. Can't wait for the next one....Thank's for it
  3. Maybe you could read what Chris Parrish said about Andy on istagram.... https://www.instagram.com/cparrish43/ It would had been a great and very fair battle anyway because they both are great persons and great athletes

Any news from this fin ? Anyone has tried it lately with comments ? I am really impatient to read about it ....
  5. They would push each other and probably Andy would come on top because his drive was so strong and his understanding of how the ski works etc.....Maybe CP could give some pretty accurate ideas.....
  6. And BOS is a worldwide site so full of so many super good advices and so on. Like @Jaypro I really started slaloming 5 years ago at 57 and dream came through, and I used a tons of advices from BOS. So THANK YOU John and all the BOS members Chris from Geneva
  7. Thank you so much for the video and this is exactly what I have to work on. Every time I see myself on video.....I am sitting on my back foot. So it is gonna be my only thing I will work on until it is buried on my muscle's memory. I really like your "basic just one thing to work on" video and you canmake more of them....thank's again
  8. Manon just ran 2 @ 41off last WE at the Baurech classic in France and Sacha ran 0,5 @ 43 off. Both on Connelly skis..... I did not find any youtube or video on the net. Very impressive scores.....
  9. Watching from here in Switzerland....I wish we had a collegiate waterski tournament here in Europe. the NCWSA is aboslutely the greatest tournament for young skier and IMO doesn't matter the level when you have D1 and D2 and entering D2 looks like one of the best experiences for these youngster. And the crowd goes so wild cheering for anyone ...this is the spirit (thank's to Marcus for the excellent Flowpoint college waterski). Personnaly I love it and you have one of the greatest skiers in some colleges (ULM to name one). For marketing purpose just wathc the enthousisme of the crowd and you will get that waterski in more than a sport, it is also about the camaraderie, sharing and tough learning. As we know skiing is hard !!!! So BRAVO !!!!!
  10. Great technical video, I really like the description of the ski and what the design is made for etc.... I agrree with others, every high end ski should have that kind of technical explanation, especially when you can't try them all. Thank you Joel and great work. Do it again !!!!!!!
  11. Great tournament....the best in Europe and great job Luzz !!!! Super good webcast as well. I have to come one day for sure. Thank you for keeping the waterski sport alive.
  12. I watched it here in Geneva (Swiss) and the quality was okay but at least I was able to watch it live and it was great. Good work and thank's for it.
  13. Thank's a lot @DangerBoy for these enlightning informations. I see my doctor in 10 days
  14. I dislocated my left shoulder 2 and half months ago and I still have pains and I feel it might end up with the same kind of torn supraspinatus rotator cuff muscle.....thank you for sharing and I will talk about it with my doctor next time I'll see him. Very interesting .....I have to find out if they use laser class IV here in Geneva, Switzerland.....I miss so much not skiing and keeping my fitness.... :s
  15. Here are my 3 skis : the first O'Brien was bought in 1993 and my first time doing mono and my first time slalom in summer 1998. Than O'Brien Mapple in 2002 but did not ski much bcause I had a break between 2002 and 2014 (family matter...2 girls). Last but not least Mapple T2 bought it in 2015 when Andy passed away and I went to slalom as much as possible with it and I love it
  16. She did in 2017, she holds the european record at 1 at 41off and then she just did it again. !!!!

  19. @SwervinMervin thank you for sharing your precious memories. Andy has to be remembered as the man he was, the soul and the energy he had for helping others in skiing, in life .....anything....
  20. It has been 3 years yesterday that Mister Andy Mapple left our world and I cannot forget that very sad day for us because he has been missed a lot.I am sure he would have loved to see where the performances are going and improving. All my prayers to his family and his friends. Chris
  21. @jimbrake as my wife is a physician and she did work on what causes cardio diseases for more than 10 years, she knows about diet and such. So in my bloos analysis (once a year) I check my cholesterol, total and HDL + LDL, trygyceride and other things like iron etc. The piont is when you take supplements and you have a good diet, you may have too much of certains vitamines and so the liver has to get rid of them....which is tiring for the body, + many times we do not process the supplements. For example if oyu take a 1000mg of vit C ...(supplement) you will process just about 20 to 25%, the rest goes down the drain through you kidney. Sometime you body needs some break (10 days) for trying to digest supplement and it is known that it is best to stop taking supplements every 6 weeks.....about, depends the supplements. Another example, if you take magnesium supplements for 4 to 8 weeks, you body will process not more than 10% of this supplement because when taking magnesium, you need to add some calcium and some beet juice to allow your cell to open and let the magnesuim penetrate it. We have a very sofisicate system and body and iti is so difficult to do ti right, so sometime the best is to eat as much as possible everything with a lot of fruits and veggies (organic if possible IMO) and balance with proteines and starch (potatoes...pasta, rice, beens.....) email me if you want more "scientific"sudies about food, vitamines etc.....be glad to share. How did I dislocated my shoulder ? I was tired and I went skiing 1 set and the 2nd set....bang I fell.......I learned my lesson....but after my fall....... I hope my experience will help
  22. Agreed with @Drago ......fantastic position and pic...!!!!!
  23. I am 62 and usally I ski 3 to 4 times a week (not now, I had a shoulder dislocated and I am off for 2 months) but when I ski and I have a good night sleep and go to sleep before 11pm, I recover much better than if I sleep less than 7hours. And I work on my cardio more during ski season and less on strength. And I am very carefull with my diet too, espacially if I have a tournament on the week-end.....I do check my iron on my blood every year too + magnesium....etc...........
  24. @DavidN What is the difference between 750 and 840 ? Did you changeto have the newer version or any other reasons ? Thank's for your input.
  25. A2 for 15off at 32 to 34 mph. I used B2 but A2 feels smoother at that speed and line length
