  1. @JennyLaBaw thank you for the videos, I went already on your site and there are so many excellent exercises to train and keep in shape. I will email to you directly as I can use some tips. But thank you so much for your deep spirit, it talks to me a lot .....
  2. Love it Thank's for sharing your knowledge and your spirit !!! Looking for part 2 too
  3. Thank you so much @Horton and @MarcusBrown for what you bring to the sport. Living in Geneva, to me, there is only Ball of spray and Flowpoint that bring s stories about pros and technics ..etc.... Like you said,80% of the time I skie, I want to quit...and I open Ball of spray web site and I am on again, because I can read technics things and read about others skiers who are struggeling too. Really really good stuff and please keep doing it more and more. DFC + flowpoint !!!!!
  4. Since I ski on a Mapple T2 I am very curious to know if the ski share some design with the T3....
  5. You are looking so fluid, fast, early and it looks very easy....it must be a great ski !!!
  6. And an enourmous thank you to @AdamCord and @adamhcaldwell for your GUT and all the sharing.....pricless for beginner like me :)
  7. I have been reading this thread 3 times at least and I do understand that the most efficient way is to get as fast and early as possible to the CL and therfore ....cruise to the next buoy ( my dream... ) and get set up for the turn and "burn".....and swing again. I am a 32-34 mph at 15off skier and (pb is 2 at 34/15off and practice I do run sometime 34) but I have trouble to find the way to accelerate properly right after I finished my turn. When free skiing I can hear and feel the wind on my ears but when slaloming.....I have the impression that I wish I can accelerate but I am not sure it happens..... How should I feel the pressure ? On my front foot and ski on edge ? When I watch Nate's video.....not fair how easy he is accelerating....tips would be welcome. I try to connect the best as I can with the handle to my hips after finishing the turn....but I don't feel the acceleration......:(
  8. This is Geneva (Swiss and a good hot chocolate to warm up :)
  9. last ski of 2019 and of the boat ...! Water temp : 50°F and air temp : 41°F
  10. I really liked this raw interview from a guy who seems to be so basically down to earth...love it thank you so much Marcus Brown for sharing theese interviews.
  11. Quick question @AdamCord are you skiing 34mph at 32 or 35off ?
  12. 57F in the lake at Geneva Switzerland and 47F outside at 8:30am...wind calm some boats when I skied so some rollers
  13. @slow here is a pic of a 2001 O'Brien Mapple ski and I started slaloming with it in 2014 and ran 6 at 30mph 15off my first season Now I ski with a Mapple T2
  14. Great tournament, for sure !! Everytime I go skiing and espacially on tournament I thing of him
  15. After 47 minutes of listening, I am so not bored, I wish I could listen even more about the approach of making skis, tweaking them. Love that flowpoint !!!
  16. @Bill22 if you saw the tournament at Lake 38, Florida, you would have seen Dane Mechler skiing.
  17. Living in Europe,I've got my Evo2 only in July (I had to wait 4 months) and.....man ..... I love my vest !!!! It worth every cent of it. Floatation is so good, the fit, snug but you can breath etc... thanks Thomas for your really good vest.
  18. Do you think that with more power engine you will get more buoys ???
  19. I use to have ProGear...very great gloves but the larger size L was a tiny bit too small at my fingers. So I bought Miami gloves XL and they are very similar but a bit longer for my fingers ....the best for me. 2 pairs in 3 years.....
  20. Wait and see.... I will not be surprise to see WR going down with one of them soon. And I agree with @Wish companies could start selling their ski without fin and let the customer choose wich one they want, why not ?
  21. Okay I went skiing this morning and I did one set of 6 passes with the fin and the second set I did not notice that the driver went to 32mph, the pass was feeling like it was 30mph....One thing I noticed is the tip of the ski does not rise at the end of the turn and it gave me confidence. So I feel good and looking forward to ski more and adjust to it. And yes I am happy with the fin
  22. I just got the Evo 2 L, M was too tight. I am 6'2" 41' chest and 172 - 174 weight I looooove my vest after 5 years wearing a slasher O'Neill
  23. @DavidN you said Jay set you up with an EVO S, did he put an whisperfin with it or did you keep the stock fin ?
  24. @jipster43 I am skiing on a Mapple T2 and do you feel switching to the EVO was a big improvement ? I mean is it easier to ski ? Do you mind to tell me what was the maine difference between the 2 skis ? Thank's
  25. I just got mine 2 days ago but I will not try it before a week so I will post my experience of course. I ski with a Mapple T2 67' 32mph 15off and sometime 34mph and I am slaloming seriously since 2014,did not ski much last year (dislocated shoulder 2x mid june)
