We have to remove ours from the lake daily so we get lots of practice each season. I can deploy it on my own with favorable winds in about 15-20 minutes and we usually use 2 or 3 people to take it out fast. We did it from the ski boat once and never again. So much better with more room and not having to worry about being so careful not to wreck the ski boat.

@swc5150 isn't this the Marker MRR from the 90's snow slalom skis?

This turned out great for me. I was nervous to hit the course out of the gate so I free skied with it and was thinking this is not going to work out. Decided the next day that I needed to get in the course and try it before I make the final call. In the course it was great and I thank Bill for the advice. For those looking for mods Bill has some he will share with you. He sent me some pics of cut/trimmed over wraps to loosen up the binding.

That is awesome. A testament to the quality of these boats. I would ski and drive that boat any day. All the creature comforts and performance I paid for on my 2016 didn't increase the fun factor of my skiing.

@Mastercrafter - @dave2ball The only complaint I had about the R-style was that I would wear out that booty so fast and I got sick of buying them. I tried to use an Intuition cut down but not luck. You got me thinking though. Thanks for all the replies - I will try and if it doesn't work out Bill said I can send it back

Hi BOS Team - I switched to the Radar HRT BOA in season 2021 from the Reflex R-style. I liked the Radar system but continue to have issue with the BOA system. On my 21 the lace eyelets pulled out from the outer and inner layers so I ordered a whole new HRT boot this season. Last week I had the laces break on the new boot and called up Bill at Performance Ski and Surf for a more reliable option going forward. He recommended I try Wiley's. Anything I need to know? Concerns, etc. I have a Radar Senate Pro, Reflex Front and get up with both feet in. I should also mention the Radar team stands behind the product and is sending me new laces at no charge.

What kind of boat are you using? Have you tried switching drivers?

@Nicole and group The seats for the 14-20 are not a simple design and have billet machined frames. Not easily reproduced by a 3rd party. I haven't examined them closely but new 21 and up seats look to be "frameless" and just sit on the floor. Might want to look at them and then have a vinyl shop match your interior.

Found a brand new in box one at a marine dealer in SLC Utah - a 2022

I found a shipping cover and wrap my boat in it on the lift. I cut the hole out so the boat can get air and fit over the tower and bimini. Same cover has worked for 6+ summers

@Wiltok The above will work but there is a risk of bumping the tracking fins if your lift isn't down far enough and the boat slide too far. These measurements match the key points of the 4 bunk trailer. Maybe I worry too much. My boat is 2016

@swc5150 Not likely to find a new boat for under 100k these days. Congrats on the Corvette and the great deal. I am actually really impressed by the team at GM on the C8. They must have really worked their butts off on voice of customer and value engineering to deliver an outstanding product at a relatively great value.

@swc5150 for some reason (boat geek) every day I look for MasterCrafts and Ski Nautiques for sale even though I have a boat I am happy with. I saw this one the same day as you and since it was so close to my house instantly asked 3 things. What engine does the boat have? Where is the boat located (city)? What is your number? I got this response yesterday.

That ProStar - feels like a scam

@Mastercrafter Can you be more specific on performance? I have a 2016 6.2L. I test drove the 5.7 and realized it wasn't enough especially since I like to barefoot. Top speed on our 6.2 is around 50mph. The other thing I liked about the 6.2 was that it was lighter than the stock option. More power and less weight I will pay for that. Overall it is a animal and so fun to drive but it is also just an awesome course boat which it is used for 99% of the time. Fuel economy. I guess I never noticed much difference from other boats I have owned and I don't really care about it as we only use the boat about 40hrs a season because we share boats on our lake. I know when we were debating between the Nautique 200 and the ProStar I believe they stated the MasterCraft was better (engine for engine).
