I came from the slashers vests to stokes. Oneil makes good product but the stokes holds it shape better. I found with the slasher they got sloppy/loose fitting after a season or two. Stokes is holding strong and still fits tight like new.
100% practice on our public water with a instaslalom course that needs to be removed every day but so worth it.

Great ideas around working out. Thinking about improving my skiing keeps me in the box 5x a week. In the winter I move home my SkiErg, RowErg, and Assault bike from my garage crossfit gym at the cabin to my basement. I like to use this equipment on weekends or nights - really good equipment for low impact endurance.
Yes I am whining 🙂 I do get out and participate in skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, snow shoeing, hunting, ...the list goes on but nothing makes me feel better than warm days at the lake waterskiing.

I got the Velocity X a couple of years ago and it has been the best I have ever used.
The past couple of season I wanted second vest, EVO2 Impact Vest, but the bigger sizes are still not available. Any idea when that will be?
@DaveD No - it arrived while I was finishing up my expat role in India. They craned it off the truck and stored it for me until I got back to the USA. Then they delivered it to my dock!
Congrats on the new boat! You are correct, it is a great day.
This is how mine arrived. I was still overseas at the time and had to wait 3 months to get it.
I think the best thing to do would be contact Radar (Brooks Wilson) and ask these questions. I did not have any issues mounting my plate. I did not have the stock setting and chose the front boot location based on how the ski was riding for me.
When I got my boat I was having issues with my gauge and talked to MC and the supplier. They told me to not top off fuel when it is above 1/2 tank and always power off the boat with the master switch in the electrical panel. When you refuel make sure it is still powered off and fill it full before you power on the switch and start the boat. Haven't had any issues with this procedure
This podcast has made me better. Just 2 things I finally understood after listening over and over. Straight arms and don’t pull past the centerline. Thank you for this podcast.
