    Boat transport

@skimtb any time you come to Vermont you got it! Unfortunately still recovering from ACL surgery. No skiing until May, and even then I don't think I will be full gas for a while.

    Boat transport

@skimtb , you were right! Having it towed to the mastercraft factory for 250$! That makes it a 1 day drive to the factory for me and saves me $1000. Thanks for the great idea.

  10. Do any of you have any experience renting a tow rig to get your new boat home? I need to get a boat from Louisiana to New England. Can you rent a Tahoe or a truck and just throw a receiver hitch on? I assume most of these vehicles have the tow package.
  11. is there a link to see it?
  12. Good point @bigskieridaho, there isn't a ski boat dealership of any brand here in Vermont! Maybe I'll try craigslist first before SIA.
  13. Hey Ballers, I am considering moving to newer boat. Can you take a look and tell me what you think it is worth? I am the 2nd owner and it has 627 hours. Power is the 351 Windsor with the 1:1 drive. I have completely refurb'd the boat over the last couple of years. The exterior has been buffed to a mirror shine, I installed new rub rail and updated the decals. The interior is brand new as of last summer and a new carpet. The speedo's are GPS, new stereo, and a new dimensions tower and bimini. Boat runs like a top! I was thinking $10,000-$11,000. What do you think?
  14. I would curious as to what HO, Reflex, and Edge think about this hi toe low heel on the hard shell boots discussion? If this is such a big deal, wouldn't (shouldn't) this be corrected at the manufacturing level?
  15. I have the same boat, same colors!
  16. Has any one out there tried these boots? As I rehab my knee, ACL surgery, I am considering a releasable system. I like the idea of the 4 way release. Spendy though.
  17. I just watched this for, I don't know, the 100th time. I am 10 weeks out from ACL reconstruction and looks like I will be on water at the end of May. I get something out of this video every time I watch it and it keeps my motivation high during my rehab! Thanks Terry! I wish you were East Coast!!
  18. as it says "my most influential", no list can be complete without the first ski that you ever ran a full pass on. Granted, that is different for every skier, but it is also the reason all of us come this this forum every day. That ski, no matter what it was, was the most influential.
  19. I was looking at a early 70's Blazer K 5 for the same thing!
  20. @Horton you commented that you felt that the NRG would be good for a 15' off skier. With the fantastic "mid level" skis, Senates, Omni's, Connelly Carbon V, would you put the NRG in that mix? What attributes of the NRG lend itself to the 15-22 off 30-34 mph skier? Thanks as always for the review and the great forum!!
  21. definitely going to do this when my ACL heals up and get back on water next spring/summer
  22. In a normal year Stowe, it’s my home town. ACL has me on the sidelines. I am going to copper in March and 1st week of April to watch my sons national championships.
