  4. Hey ballers, I am looking for a used Conquer for my son and wife. They don't ski a ton so trying to save money if I can. Do any of you have one you want sell or know of one?
  5. I think he should come to Waterbury VT and ski with me and drink Heady Topper beer.
  6. Does anyone know if the new Prostar gunnel racks will fit in older Prostars like my 91?
  7. thanks @TustinTom, I am think of doing the cockpit. I have a teak platform that I like. Thanks, though!
  8. Hey Ballers, I am looking for a template for seadek for my 91 prostar that I am refurbing. Have any of you used it or no anyone with a 91-94 prostar that has done it?
  9. Looking forward to your review @Horton. 4 feet of snow here in VT,it's gonna be a while here!!
  10. going to hardshell binding, is there an on/off feeling to the binding? Meaning is it difficult to make fine adjustments in the turn?
  11. So after 2 years of injury, I am considering a releasable binding. I am nothing special, 15' off skier, but I am considering a Reflex binding and staying RTP. Looking for someone of my comparable ability to give some thoughts. Does anyone know if any shops or reflex has a demo type program?
  12. Right shoulder surgery.....then hamstring after that! Goodbye 2016
  13. Thanks @powbmps , I found an OEM Mastercraft Bolster seat that fit 90-97 prostars. Direct bolt on! http://www.ebay.com/itm/282218792268?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  14. Hilarious, and I learned Rossi is a fellow Vermonter!
  15. thanks @bigskieridaho , i will look at it
  16. Hey Ballers, I need to replace my drivers seat. I was pulling my seating out of the boat to replace the skins, and the hardware was rusted on and not functioning, and the plastic shell is sagging and deformed. So I need to either replace the seat adjustment hardware and somehow level out plastic shell it attaches to, or replace the seat. I kind of like the idea of a bolster seat to adjust height. Any suggestions??
  17. I am actually going to two legged starts because I tore a hamstring getting up dragging this summer! that's the only way I have ever tried getting up. After it healed at the end of the season I was using the Radar RTP but I have a hard getting my size 9 foot stuffed in there. That rtp is tiny, my ski partner had the same issue. A ski buddy was suggesting the Fogmans to me, as well. Thanks the great info @Mark_Matis
  18. @Mark_Matis i was thinking about that, have you tried it?
  19. I was looking at the Sector RTP or the Reflex RTP because I think I would like the Velcro adjustable straps to really get my back foot snug. The Sector also claims to have 14 degrees of rotation which is appealing to me. Does anyone have and experience with either? After a severe hamstring injury this season i have gone to 2 legged deep water starts, but a back boot just feels too restricting, I feel like i can't turn the ski.
  20. I demo'd the vapor and the ARC S. I wanted to like the vapor more because Brooks Wilson was such a fantastic ambassador to radar, and helped me get the demo. I will be going to ski with him this fall when it gets cold here in Vermont. That said, the ARC S was just easier to ski and i could get more balls. It was fast and stable and it comes around quicker. I am nothing special, i aspire to be a 22' off skier and am struggling with 15 off, but this newbie loved the ARC S.
  21. I have demo'd the Vapor, and have just mounted up the D3 Arc. Interested to feel the differences.
  22. I have skied the 16 Vapor for the last couple of weeks (thanks Brooks). After not skiing for the last 25 years, and having skied on a 1985 O'Brien TRC, I have to say the Vapor is the most confidence inspiring ski I have ever been on, it would take a lot for me to move away from that Vapor. You were right @eddie_roberts_jr. The first day I could barely get out of the water. 1 week later and 15' off is going to happen this week. Super stable through the wake. Impressive! My buddy Jake is ripping 22'off on it out of the box. Here is a photo of my buddy and I going out to ride the vapor early morning in Vermont
  23. Thanks Brooks, can't wait to drop in!!!
