    Ocean pond club now has 12 members (started with 4 non even a year ago), we are about having fun and doing some tournaments (growing the sport) not having people pay large amount of money to someone. Was on a private lake for many years and it was not worth all the headaches.

    Ocean pond club dues are free. No boat required. Just help owners with gas. @MillerTime38 and I are just trying to bring skiing back to people wanting to ski.

    We do some free skiing when then wind has us blown out. Something to try is to have your partner time you. Try to get 6 turns in the time for your speed. We have found we turn to fast. Getting 7 turns in 16.95 seconds.

    I have been to several other night jumps. THIS one was one the best I have seen. The food trucks were great and plenty of things for the kids to do as well. There was little down time between events, which kept everyone tied to the water. Hats off to the Garcia's for a job well done.

    We use an accufloat stainless steel main line with a concrete block for 55s. Anchors are 3 55# bags of concrete with eye bolts at each end. Stargazer for cruise control.

    With seeing you jump it would be a tough call. My experience would be to work on a solid form and progressive cut to the ramp. The 86s will take you a long way.

    @Horton. This is been a great site. I have now been able to ski with good people. @MillerTime38, @Ryno Because of this site I now have taken a small permit course and opened it up to the world.

    I agree with @h2o.nhk. we need to bring it back to public water. I just recently got a permit for a course and f.w.c. didn't even know what it was. I had to show him what we did with it. We need to show people it doesn't require the latest and greatest boat to have a good time and turn some bouys. What we need is good people share their passion for the sport. I came the from a private site and now returning to my roots of public water. I have met some great people skiing on public water. #publicwaterskiing #oceanpondskiclub.
