  1. @DW Thanks! Any thoughts on how the numbers has changed now days compared to the 90's? Is there any brand that manufactures significantly more skiboats than another if comparing the "big four" or are they sharing the market equaly?
  2. Hi Ballers! Just curious, does anyone have a clue how many ski boats that are sold each year on average, found this chart after some googeling around but in order to read it one need to know the ski/wakeboard ratio… Also, approximately how many Ski Nautique 196 and 200 where made in total? Thanks!
  3. Thanks, i will start by spreading out the boots and see what happens! :)
  4. Thank you all for helping me! :) @MBlohm Nice! Where do you live? I'm posting some pictures of my settings, i dont have any one who can help me near by. So even though it would be better if you seen me ski, what do you think? Radar Profile frontbinding, open rearbinding.
  5. @gregy Thanks! I will let someone look at the setup, i havent changed it since ibought it. How good is the factory-setup? @andjules Interesting, i think I reach the buoy at the same time with both skis. Maybe it is to small i weight 176 pounds and the ski is 67", although the Strada i tried is just 66"... :*
  6. Hi! I have been skiing for almost two years, normally I get all six at 30mph, 15 off. I ski on a Radar Vapor Alloy from 2015 witch I’ve been happy with. Last week I tried a friends Radar Strada and it was so much more… I don’t really know how to describe it but…gentler. I felt like I could control the turns and I did not have to be super aware not to crash. Is It possible that my ski is to good for me? Would I automatically ski better whit a ski that turns slower or is this as super individually as everything else in waterskiing? Any advice on how to choose a ski when skiing in my division? Thanks!
  7. @MISkier: Exactly, It does not have to be a Swede either, the important thing is that he/she lives in Sweden/spend most of the time here. Thanks anyway!
  8. Hej! Mvh Erik Berghiller
  9. @sunvalleylaw : Looks pretty amazing! @UWSkier : Great tip! I will try that when it gets cold again, skied in wetsuit last week and its quite ok now!
  10. Looks great! I love the late -80s/early 90s skiboats:)
  11. @NHSkier01 Thanks! Yes hopefully the weather will be ok tomorrow so we can try to ski behind it aswell. Looking forward to it! :)
  12. And finaly its in the water! Drives like a dream...its gonna be a good summer :D
  13. Is it just me or is the guys behind the camera laughing the skibuilder right up his face...?
  14. Thanks! I am super excited to take it out as soon as the ice is gone! The only trailering i will be doing is twice a year, a trip for about 2 miles so i dont think i will spend that much on a new trailer.
  15. @skibrain: That is some badass pics
  16. @Edmund: Tried it on today and it doesn't fit the rear binding. The suit has latex socks that are attached to the legs, i have a closed front boot so i think i just wear a skisock on the front foot. Have not figured out how to do in the rear yet, maybe order a larger rear binding... any idéas?
  17. Down at the club yesterday, the ice is still 6" thick...hopefully it gets warmer soon! @lpskier: Good idea, found a place near a bridge where there was no ice and took it for a swim. A little tricky to get all the air out before jumping into the water. Much warmer than i imagined :)
  18. @34mph:Thanks but i think I start with trying to put it on my Challenger trailer and see if it fits better, its longer and its possible to adjust the angle on the beds. Have not decided if I should buy it or not yet... just checked in on the Challenger at my neighbours and i really love that boat! :) Its hard to get that feeling about this new one...maybe it is to new for me, some how boats from the -80s have more soul... <3 Sure they lean, consume lots of fuel and you have to maintain the crap out of them to keep them running but still...

  20. Thank you for all tips, yes according to the owner the trailer is from a older nautique. @vtjc: Great guide!
  21. Hi! This Friday i was at a shop looking at a Ski Nautique 196 2005 with a Excalibur 330 engine that is for sale. Overall good condition, one owner boat (club) with just over 1000 hours on it, good maintainance log. I just wonder if there is anything to be extra cautious about, any weak links on the 2005 that I have to check before placing a bid? Thanks!
  22. Now i just got to find a way to get the boat out of the neighbors barn :)
