  1. @fernandofleck Zero ball can be a distraction until you get used to it. First few times it’s easy to stare at it or even hit it in turn into the gates. I personally hated it but that’s just me. Also kind of a crutch as to when to turn in for the gates. Like anything else there’s a learning curve but after a few days it’s not a big deal. Just my own opinion. As for a power source, we use a solar panel hooked to a main battery that powers an actuator. The actuator just swings an arm with a line that runs out to the buoy line and pulls it under for about a minute or so and resets. 2 garage door opener type switches in the boat remotely control the 2 units. It’s freakin awesome. One of our handy members worked on it over the winter and we got it running early this season. It believe it’s similar to the system that LaPoints ski park uses. It was a game changer running on a short set up.
  2. @Chef23 we just installed an 8 ball course at Avon with the remote controlled pulley to sink zero ball on each side. It’s a great set up and so much easier to drive. No more need to J hook a turn to set up. Straight in and out. Couldn’t be easier and maximizes our 1700 foot set up
  3. On a 66” 19 Vapor Pro and thinking about a Senate Pro. At 5’7” and 170-175 lbs I’d be on the high side of a 65” or low side of a 67”. May need to demo.
  4. @Pat M. I live in CT and have been skiing since mid April down to 53 deg water temps. I love my Stokes 3/4. I have a like new Large for sale. $165 I used it a couple times and went to the medium. Perfect for early Spring in CT and chilly fall mornings into late October. Fit is unbelievable. Let me know if interested. I also have the Stokes shorty with long sleeves. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. Camaro is nice but always worried about ripping it not as durable
  5. Think I ended up at stock long/shallow settings but moved Bf forward 1/8 in before it all clicked for me
  6. The 2020 Vapor really likes long/shallow settings. I’m usually more short/deep but didn’t work for me. Once I changed to L/S it worked. Still undecided if I like my 19 better though
  7. Thanks for the Zoom update. Look forward to using it this summer
  8. @OSSKI Thanks! Looking forward to using the app this season. Thoughts on #6? 4/5 would make it more user friendly.
  9. ^^^This. Sounds like a simple set up error but need pics to confirm
  10. @VermontSkier I had no idea there was a course in Brattleboro. I live down in CT and ski in Avon at "The Pond". I pass through Brattleboro quite a bit on way to best friend's house on Spofford Lake. Maybe link up sometime as Im passing through. I always look up and down river crossing the bridge on rt9 but never see anything. Always calm
  11. @OSSKI First off thanks for putting the time and effort into this app. I have a couple bugs in my app which I’m not sure is just me or a known issue. My thoughts.... 1. Using Safari I can open the default and ski/fin settings. As an app on home screen the default and ski/fin setting sections will not open. Pressing the < symbol will open the section briefly then close. Again, it works if I open in Safari browser but not after saving to home screen as an app. 2. Ski/fin settings are not saved when changing default (ski). I created a profile for 2 different skis. When I change the ski in the default section it doesn’t change the fin settings for that ski. Should be linked to the profile saved for that ski for easy switching. 3. Need to increase range under DFT for fin settings. Those of us running a Whisper Fin are running DFT close to 2.00 inches. I currently run 1.92. The scale stops at 1.5 4. Any chance of changing the Boot Position scale? Seeing all 16ths put back into a normal scale could be a bit easier. Ex.... 29 1/16, 29 1/8, 29 3/16, 29 1/4, 29 5/16, 29 1/2, etc... Maybe I’m the only one who measures like this and passes on my adjustments this way? I don't think anyone uses an all 16th scale but may be mistaken. 5. Possible option to select Boot Position in decimal places? Ex. 29.375, 29.5, 29.625. If too much to make that another selectable option maybe just re-label the selectable choices. Ex. 29 3/8 (.375), 29 1/2 (.5), 29 5/8 (.625) or 29.375 (3/8), 29.5 (1/2), 29.625 (5/8). The decimal then fraction seems to read a bit better but whatever works. Poll? 6. Maybe add LE (Leading Edge) under ski/fin settings for those of us that record that measurement. Or have LE auto-populate when DFT and Length are entered. These are a few issues that stuck out and some suggestions. You can tell me to suck it if you want but thought it could improve functionality. Again, we owe you a huge thanks and some beers for working to improve our skiing with this app.
  12. @Ed_Johnson you have a pic of that? I have a super shell 2.0 with it bolted forward. I experimented with a super shell 4.0 last year and tried it both bolted and stock. Something was just off about that boot for me. Like the slightest movement forward would generate way too much tip pressure. I tossed it In the closet and went back to my 2.0. I didn’t even think of rotating the plastic blocks. Maybe I’ll give it another try once I’m back up to speed this season....or just stay on my 2.0 and sell the 4.0
  13. Honestly a 67 Graphite Senate would be a great ski to “grow” into. Especially doing a lot of open water. I’ve put a few people on one and they all love it and progressing. My opinion only but definitely get coaching. If the opportunity to demo a few skis presents itself then go for it, but the Senate would not disappoint. Again just my opinion. Best of luck
  14. Anyone have experience on a 19 and 20? Looking for comparisons
  15. He was a member at our club. Let’s just say it’s been a crazy year at our location. I will not discuss details or opinions. I’ve only known him and his girlfriend for the past 2 years since I joined. Mostly everyone else have known him for 20 years or more. Feel deeply for his 5 kids who are now without a mother and father. Very talented kids who had a bright future. Heartbreaking
  16. Anyone figure out where the washer in kit goes?
  17. What @rico said. ...so it that a medium or a shmedium? Typically power through a pass. Finesse and less load are a pipe dream
  18. So at 5’7”, 170ish , 34 MPH skier just getting into -32 off.... thinking medium?
  19. Running L/S and moved forward to from 29 1/2 to 29 5/8. Seemed to work better for me. Season over now so will maybe need to get a few more sets in Florida or wait until next year.
  20. Universal plate? Is it the radar plate? Pics?
  21. @Ed_Johnson I see the slight FL added but looks like you cranked up DFT the most
