  1. Looks like Krueger punched his ticket with a 223' jump in the first round. The Masters would be really weird without him there.
  2. What's left in the Qualifier? Another round of tricks and 2 rounds of jump? Is it possible to find the schedule and starting lists? Thanks.
  3. ***PRICE ADJUSTMENT*** Seller has authorized a new price of $314,900! 1.34 acre directly on 1 of 4 slalom courses with over 200' of waterfront! Seller is open to offers. 4. But it does look like a baby goat in that picture 😁
  5. @Horton I have no doubt that Joel can be the greatest. His performances are phenomenal! He needs more time, though. If my memory is right, Sammy ha 4 world overall titles and Patrice has 5. Joel has one. Give him time. But, it begs the question...what makes a G.O.A.T.? The person who puts up the highest score ever, the most victories, longevity? For example, Mapple is most frequently called the G.O.A.T. in slalom but Smith holds the WR. I dont mean to steer this off topic...
  6. @HortonI'm able to see it now. Duh! Thanks. Looks like a tough day for Freddy.
  7. I'm unable to get jump scores for today's Masters Qualifier. Anyone else have that problem?
  8. Holy smokes! That's insane! New pending world record for Open Men's Tricks. How old is Jake Abelson? It seems like he might not even be 20 yrs old. Awesome 👏
  9. He's become pretty much untouchable in Overall. Is there the Overall series of tournaments again this year?
  10. Dang, Mr Smooth, save some for the rest of us!
  11. @bananaron maybe its the gunnels that appear lower to the waterline or the molded in swim platform that makes it look smaller (19 ft-ish) to me. Thx for filling me in. I don't have copies of the old Waterski boat guide mags to reference.
  12. I'm curious to know the depth of the fields in 98 compared to today. Like, were the fields more tightly competitive then or now? I know in the past decade, the jump records have been held by only 2 men and 1 woman. It seems like there used to be more variety in some events as to who could set and hold the WR. I think tricks is like that currently with about 3-4 women and 4-5 guys who can trade podium spots any given Sunday.
  13. That's something you don't see every day! How's the tracking and overall comfort for the driver and crew? It's such a little boat, I'm curious about those factors. Thanks.
  14. I look at the line up of men's and junior men's tricks and it's gonna be wild. I seriously think trick skiing is about the most exciting event these days.
  15. @Horton I'm one of those skiers who competed in a lot of tournaments in the 80s and 90s in my teens and early 20s and haven't been in a tournament since 97. My biggest reason was my career just didn't make it possible (geographic location, working weekends, etc). I'm curious to hear your Top 5 reasons for tournament skiing decline over the past 50 years. TIA.
  16. He skis as well as a professional one event skier in ALL 3 EVENTS! 🤯👽

  18. It's hard to believe that Font is only 230 points away from 13,000! It doesn't seem that long ago that 10,000 was a great pro score. I think in the age of social media short video clips, that trick skiing will keep building in popularity.
  19. It's great to see a new ski lake being developed in this day and age of red tape and burdensome regulations. This looks like it will be a very nice lake to ski on!
  20. I never heard who the TWBC Skier of the Day was. Pato set a pending world record. Mati got his first pro win at a really young age. Both are notable performances. On the women's side, Erica Lange skied great. I'd vote for the pending world record and Pato Font as the skier of the day, even though he came in 3rd in the finals. Curious to know how that audience poll went.
  21. I'd love to have a 5 car garage (and 5 cool cars to go in it)! It looks like you can throw a rock in any direction and splash a lake.
  22. @liquid d @rockdog I'm with both of you on this, but I thought that the scenario should be brought up due to the recent example of Jacinta. For the integrity of the sport, I hope to see athletes push the limits in any event where the variables line up in favor for a possible record performance.
