  1. Well don't keep us in suspense....
  2. Horton that looks like its on the good ole Denali. Still riding it?
  3. So my question is how do we figure all this out? Obviously I would love to ski behind as many as possible and figure it out but not possible to do that. No access to that many different boats, versions, engines, etc. Can anyone put up some type of chart possibly? I understand it will come down to each individual but this would be a place to start. It also doesn't sound like too many have tried the plus setting before.
  4. @MS I get it... your not a fan. Believe me..neither was I. I finally have to admit after skiing more behind ZO and working my butt off to improve, it has made me a better skier. Or at least my body position is a whole lot better and I can now take what ZO gives me (most of the time). @markn- not sure of the version. It is a 2016 MC. Just discovered the plus settings and since its the end of year I thought what the heck and gave them a try. I guess my real question for this thread is if anyone has experienced that much of a difference btwn boats. I would expect the 6.0 and 6.2s to respond stronger and faster possibly? I know there are some great skiers on here who feel this difference skiing behind different boats. I'm trying to figure this out before tournament season next year. I hate winter.....
  5. Tried the plus setting a couple of weeks ago. RFF, 34 mph, 28-32 off, 215 lbs, 6' 3". Normally B2. Went to B2+. Liked it. Tried A2+. Liked it even better. Really could feel the boat whip me across to the other side and "stay" with me without feeling like it was running away. Anyone else give the plus setting a shot and have similar results? Again I never would have thought I would like more gas from ZO but it really felt good. Also have heard it will be feel pretty different from each boat manufacturer. B2+ may not feel the same behind a Nautique vs a MasterCraft vs a Malibu. Thoughts?
  6. Adam don't get our hopes up! But I am ready for another PB!!!!
  7. Anyone who doesn't like their fin (and there won't be any), I'll be glad to take it off your hands for you.
  8. @Zman, I have one also. I'll measure the fin on it just to see what the numbers are and post them on here. Give me a day or 2. Interesting to see what they are and if they may even be close to yours.
  9. Well... thats because its a Denali. Theres a new cool aid flavor fellas!!
  10. Put a cg fin in it. Amazing!!! (only kidding) but I bet it would help it tremendously!
  11. Absolutely. Send me a pm and let me know when your in town. Love getting pulls when I go out of town and anytime I can return the favor glad to do it.
  12. We (the Music City Water Ski Club) maintain the course on Percy Priest 20 min or so SE of Nashville. Course comes out in the winter due to water level drop. Old Hickory in Gallatin has a course that stays in year round. Swerve is in Manchester and is a private lake. Message me if you need any further info. Welcome to the area
  13. My thanks to all who put together the webcast. Alot of hard work for such a small audience. It was a great way to pass the day with a broken foot. Thank you to all the workers and sponsors who made the Malibu Open possible. Really enjoyed it
  14. Don't feel bad. My readers are in my ski tool bag also. And I'm in M4!!!

  18. Just watched it....H O L Y C O W! That was cool. I've seen Adam Caldwell make turns like that. Awesome to see. So which turn was better...... Tripletts 5 ball @ 39 or Ashers 3 ball turn @ 39 at the Masters?
  19. The newer systems definitely are better and don't punish you near like they did. Listen to the engine in older systems and you can hear them really rev up when the skier loads it.
  20. @Orlando76 I gave it up after skiing in an INT tournament and not running a pass @ 22. My fairly easy opener at that time. Didn't know why and thought my skiing was just crap. Really frustrated and quit for about 2 months. Finally figured out it was ZO and my poor position. ZO has come a looong way so give it another shot. Too fun a sport to give up on.
  21. Back when ZO came out I was skiing 22 off 34 mph and getting into 28. 6' 3" 215lbs. ZO would launch me through the wakes and I could not maintain good body position. Hooking up out of the turn you could really hear the engine racing. Got very disgusted with ZO and hated it. Now obviously it has greatly improved and I'm skiing better than ever, (B2) setting, occasionally running 35 and starting into 38. I really can't tell much difference from PP to ZO now as I get to ski with both systems. Just wondering if there are any other big guys out there with the same experience?
  22. @Than_Bogan and @Wish, how much or rather what are you feeling when you go to the front foot that much? I have a Denali and think I am on the front but probably not enough. A few times I have tried I thought it was going to be a yard sale or look like a dumb stunt double for Superman. Also how did it change or affect your skiing?
  23. @Dano, yes my liners are in the boots and I step in them. I ease into them as easy as I can. No yanking and tugging. When done skiing the liners come out and I wipe dry the boots as much as possible to help with drying (insides). Keeping my fingers crossed
