  1. Going to be in Englewood FL next week and looking for a pull within a couple hours drive. Not looking for coaching just want to ski some sets. Will supply gas and comedy relief. Can ski on the 24th and 26th most anytime. Going to Melbourne FL the 27th and looking for anyone willing to pull some sets there on that date. Any help is greatly appreciated, will reciprocate if you're ever in the middle TN area. Thanks Ballers!
  2. @Wish I had a boa break completely out of the boot and replaced it with a buckle system. I use it for a back up. Have not had the chance to try it out yet but I was able to place the buckles pretty much where I wanted.
  3. I vote we start having drawings for all these skis Horton is demoing. Share the love man! Since this was my idea I'll take that no good C75 off your hands. Heck I'll even pay shipping....
  4. That lake is gorgeous. Is my number 1 place I want to ski at. Pretty boat too!
  5. Lets see some pics! I need a few ideas as well.
  6. Caldwell? Caldwell? How about some help here.
  7. I have a 2018 r style rear and an Aqua Intuition liner for sale if anyone is interested. Just couldn't get comfortable on it. Size 10/11 liner and size 10.5 on the Reflex. Never heat molded the liner and maybe 3-4 sets total on it. Haven't put it on SIA yet.
  8. Adam thank you! Absolutely I have been trying to figure out the whole "forward" deal. What I mean by me getting forward is I have been reading and looking at the GUT principals and trying to emulate them on the water- sometimes with success, sometimes not. I have skied with Caldwell and really learned alot. Planning on another trip there hopefully next month or so. I have read where he stated about trying to stand up the whole time getting your shoulders farther away from your feet, like in dead lifting. I need more water time to feel more of this. What you stated about the sternum also makes sense and I will apply that next time out. I will measure my ski settings again and post them. Pretty sure my bindings are around 31.25" on a 68" c-65. Absolutely talking about posture and where to control the ski would be extremely helpful. No doubt I am trying to get forward without being stacked. And it is damn frustrating. Its like being right on the edge of an OTF but ponying up and trying to learn something. Again I really appreciate everyones help on here. Love BOS.
  9. @Horton no kidding I was very dejected and thoughts of quitting ran through my head. I did manage to fight the demons off with some help from some good friends but man it was depressing. Will try and upload video sometime soon. @AdamCord I try and control most everything from my lower body. My achilles heel is pushing on my back foot and leaning away too soon in the turn and coming out. So guessing heel of my back foot is where I feel most pressure. Since being on a Denali I have moved forward (on the ski) quite a bit and have a new PB last year. Just can't believe how it feels so good at times and can ski effortless and other times its like I've never been on a ski.
  10. Double Radars. Putting rear Radar on like Caldwell suggests with better results. Tried r style rear several times and it gets worse.
  11. Watching video this weekend of my skiing its a miracle I can run 32. My hips are dragging... especially out of the turn into the 1st wake. I've read, watched, studied and watched some more. My hope is that someone will have that little nugget that may click with me and get my ass up finally. Thanks
  12. X10 on the tail blow comment. I used to blow the tail fairly often on my Goode and D3 running 32 into 35. Since being on the c-65 I'm pretty sure I haven't blown it out since. And I have the confidence this ski will let me push it to scrap for that next buoy. Can't wait for the big boy 7.5's to come out!
  13. Adam do you think 43 is possible?
  14. @Horton that best ski ride wasn't on a particular ski produced in SC was it?
  15. Kris' turn in style looks awfully familiar to someone elses today.
  16. @dbski real good possibility
  17. Why do I always want to buy a Stokes top everytime I get on the forums page?
  18. It would be a bit of a drive for you but we ski on Percy Priest lake just out of Nashville, closer to Smyrna. You're more than welcome to come ski with us. Check out MCWSC.com
  19. I sold my 1990 PS 190 2 years ago for a 2004 Malibu LXI. Thought I would miss my old faithful... nope. Love love love the LXI. More room for the family and have a new PB behind it as well. Rough water is a thing of the past. The wife will love you!
  20. I received the complimentary email from SIA. Is that the same thing?
  21. Anyone know if the site is sending emails or not? I've responded to 2 postings concerning the Reflex r-style rear with no response in several days. Anyone?
  22. Gordon Rathbun sells gloves that are supposed to be pretty good. About $60 a pair I believe. Look on skiparadise website. Thinking of getting a pair myself. +1 on the 41 tails also even though they haven't helped me to run 41 yet
