  1. Are there any pros running C settings? And if so how big are they? I would think Parrish is the bigger of the pro men. Anyone know what he runs?
  2. Just thinking out loud here... I'm 6'3", 210. Thinking if I run ZO on C settings it will not slow down as much and have to react "more" to keep the speed up. I tried it the other day and it felt pretty good, still early in the season to really tell anything. I have also run plus settings with good results. Again my thinking is that by the boat remaining "stronger" the drop in speed and subsequent reaction will not be so drastic keeping me swinging around the pylon more efficiently. Hope I'm explaining this right. Crazy or hmmm... may be on to something? Come on SUMMER!!!!!
  3. And their price is exactly why I will be ordering one soon. $190 for a rope? Sorry.. I'm out. I doubt I'll feel much difference being a mid 35 skier so definitely going to give them a chance. Thanks for coming into the market S Line.
  4. @lpskier I whole heartedly agree. I've heard the same statement from a men's pro skier say about the same thing about Nate. According to him it pretty much was the "Nate donation".
  5. @customski not surprising. Seriously.. great skiing! Man I love Denali!!
  6. According to @adamhcaldwell I may be the oddball out.... While I whole heartedly agree the 85 is one great ski the 75 is probably still my favorite ski hands down. I can jump right back on it and run into my hardest line without hesitation. That ski just works for me. The 85 is still my go to ski but having a back up like the 75 is a breath of fresh air.
  7. I was able to knock it out in a little over an hour. You just have to be ready to keep clicking when it offers you the chance. I did stop once or twice and came back to it.
  8. Update on my report of taking SS in 15 minutes. I had to contact Melanie at AWSA because the link it sent me to was the wrong one. That one did only take 15 min but it was for Mandatory Reporting. I did take the correct one and it did take a little over an hour. They make you stay on the page and keep checking boxes. A bit of a pain but not too bad. Just wanted to clarify with everyone that it did take longer than 15 min and unfortunately you can't just keep clicking next. Hope this all gets taken care of. Didn't mind SS but BGC with SSN aint happening.
  9. @Keith_Menard exactly! And its not earth shattering news about what to look out for either. Just give me the cliff notes and be done with it.
  10. @The_MS hilarious! @igkya nope, no IT requirements. Much like spotting someone who "may" or "may not" be a pedophile, you never will know until it happens. Sad world we live in now especially since it has touched our small niche of water skiing.
  11. Yes first time doing it. I just kept clicking the next button when I could.
  12. Quick question Rob... at the 6:02 mark where you fell around 4 ball, what is the cause of that? I'm right foot forward also and my onside really suffers from this. I feel like I'm trying to get on the handle to quick and lean away before the boat has me. Close?
  13. I just took it and got through it in about 15-20 minutes. Keep clicking next and take the test at the end. If you do the pretest it is the same answers as the test at the end. Wasn't bad but not doing the BGC or giving my SS #. Really hope this gets solved, tournaments are a big part of my summer enjoyment with friends I don't get to see often.
  14. Skied in TN today today at Swerve in Manchester. Water 55 air 68. Felt pretty good actually. @The_MS and @RAWSki how lucky to have such great weather this time of year. Two of my favorite places to ski!
  15. Yes.. thank you TWBC for all you do bringing the sport to us who can't be there in person. There's alot of work that goes on that not many people realize, not even myself. I truly appreciate all you guys do. Please keep it up.
  16. Looking at those 75s mounted up like that almost brings tears to my eyes. I get it they are pre-production skis but I would cry like a 2 year old if anything happened to my trusty 75. I love that ski!
  17. What an awesome moment for her! I watched it earlier and it was a joy to watch her pure happiness and pride in what she has worked so diligently to achieve. She has done something no other woman in the world has done and thats just massive impressive! Congrats Jacinta!!!
  18. So I mounted the ole 75 up yesterday and man do I love that ski! 35s felt awesome and played around with 38. Just got back on it and rode it like I stole it. If that ski ever goes out I'm going to cry like a 4 year old.
  19. @BS74 McCormick sounds like another individual on here who thinks a skier should pay for his time, boat, insurance, gas, etc.
  20. Thx for posting @brody. I skied in them in 2001 in Indianapolis. Seems like the lake was west of Indy in a residential neighborhood. I didn't ski well back then and have been looking to ski in them again but skiing hasn't been on the venue since. Might have a better shot this time!
  21. What an incredible accomplishment! Huge congrats to Brian. Amazing that only 12 skiers have made it down that line length in a tournament and is a true testament to how hard this sport is and what a commitment it takes to achieve such a remarkable feat. These athletes are unbelievable and only those involved in the sport know what it truly takes to do what they are capable of. Great job again Brian!!
  22. Is the 10 plenty comfortable for a 10.5? Hard to pull the trigger on being in between but I'm going to.
  23. @Horton when/where is this move taking place? I understand before the buoy but how close to it? Does it happen sooner as the line gets shorter as well or hold it longer?
  24. @gavski how about a preview of that boot mod. Always interested in some Caldwell modification-ism!
