  1. @Interjon i did not! Thanks-I’ll look for it!
  2. @Jody_Seal thanks-I think I’ll just live with it as long as possible. Minor annoyance, and if the skier pulls out to the left, it’s not a problem! ?
  3. @Jody_Seal something similar w my boat but access seems challenging. Is it even possible to inspect/grease the rudder area on a 2019 (Bryant) 200 w/o removing the fuel tank, or does that absolutely have to come out? Thx.
  4. @skiep im curious why the hydrogate would affect rudder performance like that. Can you explain further, or do you have a theory?
  5. If you’re new to course skiing you might want to slow things down a little-a wider ski would help. If you want to stick with connelly the carbon V is a great choice. Oh, and you’ll never defeat the course. It always wins!
  6. I’ve got a 2019 and wakes at -22 similar to other 200s I’ve skied, both pre and post 2019 change. If yours is different I would guess it’s something that can be tweaked. Maybe hydrogate.
  7. If A skier is pulling at 500 lbs (conservatively), the pin would need>500 lbs strength, which would be plenty to break your neck, so no questionable benefit at best. And if your pull is greater than the pin strength it’s likely to fail right behind the boat. I envision broken ribs with the added benefit of a metal thingy flying towards your head at 200mph.
  8. Never skied behind. 200 I didn’t like. Seems to me diff engines can change characteristics slightly, but I haven’t noticed any difference between the 2019+ and the older version.
  9. Botas webcast was much less polished, but I appreciate webcast and their effort. Better than not seeing the tournament at all. I’m pretty confident no other will ever measure up to TWBC. Maybe I’m biased though-I’m privileged to support TWBC behind the scenes with their electrical/electronics needs. You guys would not believe the time, effort, resources that Vince, Alice, Tony and the entire team dedicate to these webcasts. I hope people realize this is not a money maker for them. They do this out of passion for our sport. So…. Buy their freaking t shirts and donate when you see a go-fund-me for nationals broadcast etc! If they fold NO ONE will fill the gap.
  10. @LoopSki We’re on a public lake full of lake lice. @LK_skier 2019 was the year they messed with everything so unfortunately different-no chrome panel.
  11. Hi everyone. I realized today my horn isn't working-just makes a quick pathetic squeak so need to replace. Sounds like it's located in front of the driver. Anyone know the best way to access? Im thinking I need to remove the front seat panel(s) but don't want to damage the upholstery or the fasteners. Thanks!
  12. Funny, I’ve been considering giving up waterskiing to improve my drinking, ?
  13. People are searching for the absolute right answer for cars (and boats), but there may be more than 1 answer. We’re in a transition phase right now, and no one can tell us the final outcome. Battery capacity, power, and charge rates are MUCH better than just a few years ago, but in my opinion still not strong enough to replace all ICE vehicles. Electric vehicles are not great in cold climates. Also not the best for long trips. Electric seems a reasonable choice for a wakeboat (where weight is a good thing), but not good for a slalom tug. (Well, unless you only want a few sets a day or wakes the size of a wake boat.). Will the technology soon improve to the the point electric makes sense for ski boats etc? Maybe, but it’s not there yet. PS-I own a Tesla and LOVE it.
  14. @Luzz just sent PayPal. Great way to get cash directly applied to urgent needs. You OK if we repost to personal social?

  16. Agreed-I had a problem with a demo and Sam replaced with new. Unmatched customer support.
  17. I was suffering last year and now 100% pain free. A few changes: 1.0 radius handle, palms down getting up and whenever out of the course, and @bracemaker introduced me to the tyler twist. Of all the changes I think it was the tyler twist that did the trick. Use medium or hard twisty stick, and do it over and over.
  18. Broken skis aren’t as unusual as you might think. I broke 1 last year (under warranty) and I have at least two friends that have broken skis in the last couple years. I don’t think any one manufacturer is worse than the others.
  19. I’ve got a 2019 200. No storage to speak of except under the observers seat. I chose this year for more floor space w/o the ski lockers. We deploy a portable course every week and the extra space is nice. But… if you want storage this ain’t the boat.
  20. thanks @Rednucleus. Got it done without modification this time, but next year will be prepared to install T or quick disconnect. @jhughes -ordered the tool. Who new?! @RAWSki 6.0 with normal raw water cooling system.
  21. And what was the objective? Keeping the kite at constant altitude? Or did they throttle up and down for “tricks”? I think it might be more fun pushing the throttle than being on the kite. ?
  22. First year winterizing my 2019 200. First 90% of the job was impressive. Nautique/PCM put a lot of thought into making things easier with the extension hoses and blue screw caps. Then I got to the heater. Ugh. The boat's never been winterized in 800 hours and these were/are really stuck on there. Also, the location is awkward to access with any kind of tool-especially the rear hose. I still don't have that one off. First question -I was able to blow into the front hose and the water evacuated from the heater core through the open connection to the circulator pump. With previous boats I would blow through in both directions, but do you think blowing through only the front hose is enough? (I will run RV antifreeze through the system after drain) Second, has anyone ever installed three way valves in the heater lines? I would think that might be a good long-term solution to simplify future winterization. If so, pics of your valves would be appreciated. Thanks!
  23. Just saw this come up on facebook. I'm curious about the passenger throttle and the reverse facing gauge (presumably speedo) on the engine box. Was this common, and have any of you piloted such insanity? I suppose in the days before speed control adjusting throttle while viewing the skier straight on could have advantages. Having said that not sure I'm 100% comfortable with a backwards facing passenger controlling the forward momentum of a 2500lb ski boat.
  24. I second the sunsetter recommendation.
  25. Caldwell is my new favorite skier. What balls. OMFH.
