  1. Flat, like D3Â http://store.d3skis.com/Articles.asp?ID=142 Tsixam
  2. The problems start to show at 35 and shorter. Off side is worse. Water is soft, temp about 68F. At 180 Lbs maybe I should have a 66? Bindings at 29 1/2, 6,836 tips, 2,510, Dft head 0,784 ( almost impossible to get the same reading 2 times in a row), wing 9. Thanks. Tsixam
  3. Let’s pretend that my technique is more or less perfecthttp://www.ballofspray.com/vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif, but still getting some slack after the ball on both sides. What would be the right fin adjustment to do? I am on a 67 Elite with Andys settings. Tsixam
  4. We took the back seat out an installed a frame that can take 3 gas cans. Every member brings their own gas and put their gas can in the boat when they ski. We also put a valve in so we can change from the cans to the main tank. Tsixam
  5. I agree, handle control is very important. When I mange to hold on, the ski casts me out very wide. But when I let get too early, I end up narrow. I have also a little less tip than factory #, it helps on the off side. Tsixam
  6. Hey Skidawg, Have you tried the new settings yet? What are your settings now? Tsixam
  7. Jörgen, 67 blir kanon, i alla fall på 55km. Har inte testat 58 ännu med det kommer säkert att funka det också. Kanske någon grad till på vingen. Tsixam
  8. A new rope with some stretch is also much better for the elbows. Tsixam
  9. I never had a spray leg, ski in cold water all the time. Tsixam
  10. The prophecy reminds me of the old black Connelly HP. ( my first real slalomski, not counting the Taperflex 2000) Tsixam
  11. I have been in North America a couple of times.. is that enough to enter? :) Tsixam
  12. It´s John´s site, he can do what ever he wants. If cr7**@aol.com don´t like it he can go some where else. Keep doing what you are doing John. Tsixam
  13. Ja, men den är inte så god ;)
  14. Send one over and I will do it next spring. Tsixam
  15. John, Why don’t you do a serious review on Erics ski?  Tsixam
  16. I second that. Then you will be ready to go next season. Tsixam
  17. Last weekend I was skiing in a drysuit and was comfortably warm, but my ski buddy who has been eating quite a load of concrete in his days tried to ski in shorts. You should have seen the expression in his face and hear the strange sound he made as he was trying to say Ok, hit it. To make a long story short, to the second set he was in a drysuit too. We drink a lot of anti-freeze in spring and early winter, summer too to be honest. Tsixam
  18. We have winter days with temp around 0F.  But I would ski as long as I had open water if we had electricity in the boat house to keep the boat from freezing. (if I could find a driver with the same obsession.) It has already been a few mornings when I had to scrape the wind shield before going to the lake. Tsixam
  19. Yesterday it was 50F in the water, air 51, cold wind from the sea. I think we will ski next weekend too, and then it is time for until-next-spring-depression.Tsixam
  20. This is a good start. http://ballofspray.com/vanillaforum/comments.php?DiscussionID=5&page=1#Item_1 Tsixam
  21. To me it sounds like you are starting your pull to the gates too late or/and too hard. Make sure you are wide and that you have about the same speed as the boat when you start your turn in. Stand tall, initiate the turn with your hips, by moving your centre mass to the right side of the ski, and try to imagine that you are turning all the way in to the wakes. Try to keep the direction after the wake by holding on with two hands, elbows to the vest, and counter rotate your hips and shoulders. This will help you to keep a tight line at the ball. Tsixam
