  1. thanks. I've been checking out ebay, guess I haven't gotten lucky enough. I've got a 42" D3 I could probably slap a binder on, but she is going to need two skis for sure. I just thrilled she wants to try.
  2. My 10 year daughter who hasn't like skiing so far, has decided she would like to learn to trick ski. I've been looking for a decent pair of tricks skis for her to learn on, I've been keeping an eye on ski-it-again. I haven't had any luck. I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas? trying to stay around $300 or less. Would like to do something fairly soon, before she loses the drive. My son started jumping last week, so I'm making progress.
  3. I have to second scotchipman. Only two manufacturers I use, and don't seem to have a stretching problem.
  4. I don’t believe it is a matter of how much it is, I believe that the current sales price is $0.00 is causing the problem. Just make sure the sales price is greater then $0.00 and it wont be a problem. Never mind your probably saying the same thing.
  5. I was happy to see the EP system 90 binders go the way of the dodo bird.
  6. Cost me $.11 to pay by paypal. Need to change the price to $.10 and make shipping free and that should fix the problem.
  7. The way OB has been skiing, he has to be the odds on favorite.
  8. I think I will just ask 9400 what to do. He nailed it. You are really close to running the course, your just dragging your butt. Hips up, shoulders back. Like everyone else said practice outside the course. Practice on land even.
  9. Jody, good to see you skiing in tournaments, instead of just working your butt off at them. Hope your new ski does the trick for you.
  10. It could by body position or style, video will help tell that. It could also be ski setup. May be helpful to post binder and fin settings. I'm not familiar with that ski, but i'm sure there are people on here that have a good feel for that ski.
  11. must be nice. If I get one glassy set all year, I'm happy. I don't even know if I would know how to ski in glassy conditions.
  12. I was thinking the same thing. That looks better then anything I've skied in this year.
  13. I didn't see anyone mention medalist. I'm still jumping with a medalist helmet
  14. The Ukraine is weak.
  15. I would bet Wiley either has them, or can get them.
  16. You already said my favorite EP, but how about Mastercraft and Cypress Gardens.
  17. That is what my dad always tells me. He also says it is better to be a smart @ss then a dumb @ss, and that they are all b@@ches you might as well mary a pretty one. My dad is a wealth of knowledge.
  18. I for one hope you keep skiing into triple digits. Gives me something to shoot for.
  19. Sully, I believe you are seeing the reflection of the white parts of the platform. It's a good looking boat. On the mastercraft interior, having seen it in person I would say it is a big upgrade over the older models. Looks and feels higher quality. There are some great boats out there to choose from.
  20. That stinks, that is what I had to do last year. I actually got a jump site this year. I will say one thing about the longer skis, and I hope it doesn't throw a wrench in the system for you. They are safer. They are a lot more stable and you really have to mess up a lot to crash on these, atleast out the front. You can certainly still go out the back on them. I haven't come close either way since switching.
  21. I'm probably the wrong guy to answer this, since I just started jumping again. So I spent the bulk of my life on 72". As long as he hasn't physically outgrown the 72's i would wait until he is jumping over 100'.
  22. Ham, I noticed you picture, is the left hand crotch grab for your competitors or the ladies in the crowd? Hope to be jumping with you guys this year. I got my Joe Burkhead duct tape.
  23. Unfortunately i'm old enough to be back to 5'. It's not that much different, what I remember about 5.5' is you have to really make sure you drive thru the ramp. It's a lot easier to crush and split so you have to have better form, and can't take some of the jumps you can get away with at 5. It is a lot more fun, and if you get your legs under you a lot more lift. I would start out at 33.6 until you get used to the feel of the ramp, then up it to 35.
