  1. @usaski1 overall. I don't think there are many Men 3 Overall skiers. You placed in tricks and jumps at the state tournament, I would guess you did in overall as well. I think there were only like 6 total overall skiers in the south central. Not sure what your trick and jump scores are but you might have a pretty good shot. I watched the video, and that is just bad ass.
  2. @Horton I thought that was your vinegar strokes. I think I just saw into your soul. Very disturbing.
  3. @webbdawg99 thanks for posting all the info.
  4. Very cool. You should get on the Google earth link and find a slalom course near you.
  5. Evidently it is just a coating. I can see on mine where they missed some spots.

  7. Awesome. Love to hear stories like that.
  8. Take the juice from two limes, add a slice of lime, 1 shot Kilo Kai, 1 Shot Patron, 1 shot kettle one, 1 shot sapphire blue gin, 1 shot Grand Marnier, 1 Shot Cointreau, add V8 splash strawberry kiwi to taste add ice and stir. It's raining, cant ski, figured I would start drinking. Maybe I'll call it a Ball of Spray.
  9. Besides V=IR and everyone knows resistance is futile, therefore the amps are equal to infinity http://thearnoldianproject.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/ancient-aliens.jpg
  10. I have an eagle that I like a lot, but it doesn't have a lot of padding. I had an intensity before and it had a lot more padding. I think the nightmare suits have a good amount of padding also. Started using a neck roll this year and I wouldn't jump without it now.
  11. If you can't find it you might try Matusalem Classico.
  12. Holly crap a Sheedy Sigthing. Ole Danny Sheedy was a merry old soul With a buckskin belly And a rubber butthole.
  13. Some how I was reading the mirage blog and posted here. Let me try that again.
  14. I think you can demo the quest for $70. That's a helluva deal.
  15. @tbrenchley I would think so, it didn't look like much. He got his skis back under him before the landing. Those usually don't hurt.
  16. Reach, especially on 1,3,5 side. Counter on both sides. Get your hips up. Pretty solid though.
  17. New masterline rope and handle is my Christmas present to myself each year. I have had a few break in the past. The scariest was on the way into the ramp. Turned out OK though, but I don't chance it anymore.
  18. Better then me, I started on a pair of water logged cypress garden jumpers that didn't float. The binder were so big I had to wear three pairs of socks so the skis wouldn't fall off. I had like a foam helmet that wouldn't protect you from anything and a pair of blue jeans shorts for jump shorts. No off the side either, just straight over the top to start out. Of course the guy under the ramp, always thought it was funny to hit you right in the face with a bucket of water as you came off. Hind site the blue jeans shorts were a waste of time, because I landed on my head every time any way. I would have to swim down and pull my skis up to the surface. Just about killed me, the skis weighed more then I did. Did I mention this was behind a 24" SeaRay cuddy cabin. The 70's were great.
  19. @KcSwerver I know, but I've been thinking about it for awhile. I never get to see myself ski, so I'm always guessing at what I'm doing. Got some video a couple of weeks ago, and it helped me figure out some things I was doing very wrong. This thread just reminded me I needed to get camera mount, so I ordered it while I was thinking about it.
  20. Thanks a lot for this thread. Impulse buy. Just ordered an EZ cam.
