    Making a film for Parks Canada on the Columbia Icefield. It's an awesome experience but in the prime of ski season. We had guys on snow skis today.

    Given that I'm working in this part of Canada for what could be rest of the month, I think my season is over. Julien's lake will be cold by the time I get back.

    I would suggest finding a way to get some practice sets in with a tournament boat. If you haven't had any practice behind a inboard ski boat with speed control, you will be in for a big surprise at this tournament. Even then, you should start 2 or 3 passes before your best pass. Tournament conditions are different than home conditions.

    I tried a buddies Z7ST that he wasn't using and now I own it. I've run more 35's on that thing than any other ski I've had.

    I can just imagine what it must have felt like to be coming into five and thinking, "I'm going to be the first person ever to r..." bang! and it was over. At least that what happen's to me when I come close to setting a new PB! Congratulations to Greg, awesome skiing! I hope there's video.
