  1. Hey John, can you add "progressing" to the current poll? While this was not the best year of my life, my skiing was no the same as always and definitely not moving backwards. Thanks
  2. It looks really cool but it's PC only. D'oh!

    Elite

Very. Tips 6.830. 2.493 .785 needle bindings stock. wing 7
  4. I can't wait to hear if what Horton learned on the road translates to ball count at home. This is once case where you don't want what happened on the road to stay on the road.

    Elite

@tsixam I switched from a Sixam 2.0 to a Elite Quattro and once I got it dialled in, I added several balls to my regular score. @everyone, I also agree that it is not a forgiving ski but I've also scrapped together some passes that wouldn't have been possible on my 2.0. I also tried an Elite and found it to be similar to the Quattro. The best skiing I've done so far on the Quattro is short and shallow on the fin but the Adam Cord - deep and really short settings are reminiscent of what Lucky Lowe had put on my Sixam, which made the ski less sensitive to lake and temperature changes, so they are very intriguing.

    GO PRO

It should work, is it only when it is on the ski that you have a problem? If so, I would check the contacts to the battery. otherwise try reformatting the card.

What class memory card do you have?
  8. I definitely prefer the old format, I like seeing all the discussions at once. If you like we can come here less often to keep your traffic down:)
  9. Yeah but it would suck if your ski broke in the middle of the pass at the Big Dawg finals. A free ski doesn't replace a once a year chance.
  10. @jody I'll get the details and contact you directly. Sorry for the thread hijack.
  11. @Jody. Do you have to pull the transmission to replace the selector valve?
  12. The transmission creep is sort of normal in old transmissions. I haven't found a solution for that anywhere.
  13. skidim.com I rebuilt a velvet drive myself, Vince new everything I needed for my boat and it wasn't that big of a job. Propellers are a cheaper way to lower RPM's. Good Luck.
  14. I don't know who or what he is but I think I know where he comes from.
  15. Quattro's not rare. I have two friends on it as well as myself.
  16. O brien quattro. I have a buddy that also has one and he doesn't use a ventral either but swears by it on his S2.
  17. I tried one and found it made my ski heavier, sort of like moving the DFT back too far. I only run 7 degrees on my regular wing and putting more metal on my fin just created too much drag. I'm guessing I would have to switch to a mini wing in the back to compensate. Here is my prototype post Ventral epoxy composite fin. I betting if I drill a bunch more holes in specific places and filled them with more flexible epoxy, I could target exactly where I wanted to add fin flex and better control the finish of my turns:)

    Tip Jar

I took the money I used to spend on Waterski Magazine and applied it to this fine site. Thanks John.
  19. He seems to be dropping his shoulder in the turn. That's a bad habit that you should nip in the bud;)
  20. 6.843, 2.505, .79 (needle) 67". 8 degrees bindings at 29 7/8 worked well for me on pretty much any Sixam I've owned. If the ski is jittery and turning too hard, you may want to move the bindings forward a hole. good luck
  21. Call them Wreck Less and then it gets interesting.
  22. Careful how hard you toot your Canada horn Brent, after all you spends most of your week-ends in the States skiing in awesome conditions that we don't have here:)
